Evening all.
A long day at work. I did an easy tea when I got in, have prepped lunch for tomorrow and wiped the bits of the kitchen that are visible. Most of those bits anyway. Towels have been washed. They might be dry by the weekend at this rate.
I don't suppose that you were watching the Route du Rhum, Mademoiselle? We were trying to avoid the pre- set off traffic last week!
I have a cuppa by my side, and it won't be a late night tonight, after a restless night's sleep last night. Tomorrow I am playing list catch up. Good night, all. X0 -

Hello all
I knew I was doing an extra morning this week so piled up to work yesterday bright eyed nice and early and it wasn't yesterday...didn't come back home as it's almost an hour round journey so stayed there and did stuff. On the plus side it was warm as the heating is on there. Should have been on a course today but it's been rescheduled which is a good thing as I had let that slip my mind too.
Plan on doing Monday's and Tuesday's list today. Have 2 washloads to peg out and have run DW. Some admin to do including banking PTA disco money.
Totally failing on slinky - need to refind mojo.
Thanks for list Natty.
And I need to match up calendar and diary.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Writing Christmas cards already, Frankerooney?:eek::eek:
BTW, would anyone like to volunteer to take over the organisation of the:santa2:Flylady Secret Santa this year? I've done it for the past three, but I'd like to take part again this year - can't do both, because then it's not secret for me!
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed - especially to YL, Jojo, raphael, Narc0, Froddy, dancemum and HB.0 -
Yesterday was a slow day, besides WM, TD & ironing not much else done in the house.
Working this afternoon and evening and have banking issues to sort so I think I will go into town either late morning before bank shuts or be there for as soon as they open after lunch (this means I can have lunch at home which is easier) Better go and check bank opening hours, it will also give them the morning to react to the email we sent them on Thursday, it was a public holiday here and bank only had minimal staff in Fri and Sat and they are closed Monday so it's already dragged on too long.
I have been doing quite well on throwing stuff out, and am sadly looking forward to bin day as have loads to go out. Have also brought sewing machine out of barn building to see if it works. It's been there since we moved 16 years ago but I have a feeling it was dropped and that's why it got put away. As I've got a couple of sewing projects in mind I've got it out and will try, if not a new machine might be on my Christmas list.
Big freezer is almost empty and I plan to move the last bits out at the end of this week and then defrost it and get rid of it. Just got to menu plan around gallons of icecream! Have decided that freezer part of big fridge/freezer is quite big enough and having less stuff in means there is less stuff to waste.
I have one tidy sorted shelf of clothes as whilst I was packing to go away for the long weekend I decided to sort through all my trousers & jeans (I was looking for something to take) and got rid of all those that don't fit, I don't like or will never wear. It didn't take long at all and has inspired me that I might just do the same again with another shelf or drawer and accept that bit by bit is the way to go and that "perfect" isn't the only option. I put off starting as I won't be able to do it all "perfectly".
Kettle's boiled so going to take my coffee up and get in the shower and use up some shampoo samples found last night when looking for something else.
Hugs to all and have a good day0 -

Good morning
Thank you for all your kind words last week - they meant a lot to me. Flying took a back seat as I've been helping Dad and my brother to deal with the practicalities and legalities which had to be addressed. We're meeting the vicar today - I think that's the last of those boxes ticked.
Slinky disappeared completely as I've eaten for England all week..
Pick yourself up, dust yourself down, and start all over again.....
I'm going to go back to pen and paper - flying via bullet journal mode - to see if that makes a difference to my motivation / progress. I'm a 'listy' sort of person - and I'm hoping ticking things off will spur me on. Just have to be sure I don't spend all my time 'listing' rather than 'doing'
Kitchen today? Thank goodness - say no more
Hugs
