Girls don't have the same surge of hormones at that point, so tend to find school less stressful at that age, even before you take into account any additional difficulties/diagnosis or whether he's bothered about your OH being away for a whole five days at a time - which seems like ages for little ones.
I had no idea about the testosterone, thank you so much Jojo for taking the time to respond xx
DW unloaded, washing put away, children dressed and making paper necklaces :rotfl: off to work in ten mins when my friend arrives. Have lovely days all xx

morning
Thank you for the hugs Fayolle xx
I left yesterday's meeting with the vicar with a couple of time-defined jobs to do: I've composed a poem in my head, 'Memories of Mum', which I need to get down on paper as I'm reading it at the funeral. I also need to draft out the eulogy to run past my Dad and brother for amendments before mailing it to the vicar.
So Priority No 1 today is to find and load Word on to the laptop. Shouldn't be a problem - I know which 'pile' it is in… I think
Mr T is delivering food this afternoon. DS has gone to work armed with his overnight bag as he will be staying over in pigpen-land tonight. (He works at the Uni now, and GF lives over there.)
Right, I know where I'm at (ish) - so let's crack on....
Breakfast first, get dressed, and then wash some pots as denuding the flowers of lilies* yesterday led to me properly sorting out the wrapping etc, re-vasing the flowers, and removing them from the draining board :T Meaning I have room to manoeuvre said pots now
Have a good day all.

Morning,
I'm just watching the coffee machine go through a descale, as apparently nobody else knows how to do it.....unsurprisingly though they both know how to work the machine to get a cup of coffee out of it. Says the (mainly) tea drinker. Still, it's something I can tick off the kitchen list.
I have changed our bed, and the bedding has run through the wm. Dw from last night is empty. I am going to tackle upstairs this morning, then it is grocery shop and hair cut. I must write a list. Yesterday I looked at last month's spend. It wasn't pretty, so belts will have to be tightened yet again.
LW and HB - sorry that you are both struggling a bit atm. We miss you being here, so come back as soon as RL allows.0 -
Hi everyone. Im new here and hoping this will get me back into doing more housework. I've been feeling really tired recently but hoping it will pass soon and I can get on with stuff.
Will probably start properly next week. So far this morning all I have done is got 2 kids to school, put food in slow cooker for tea later as im at work later. So now im just sat on the sofa with a coffee watching cbeebies with my 1 year old0 -
Hello and welcome CoffeeQueen
I've made the beds, fed the birds, put out rubbish and recycling, and WM x1 is draped over the airer, whilst yesterday's washing finishes off on the radiator.
I've installed Office on to my laptop (go me :T) and typed out the poem and a draft of the eulogy for mum's funeral. Going to ask DF if he'll print these for me and bring them over. (Need to go over the eulogy with Dad and my brother before emailing a final copy to the vicar)
And breathe....food next methinks.

Hi there, can I please join in? I am a bit of a serial sign up and disappear as I lose focus so easily but I really need to try harder to stay focussed as I think the benefits will be worth it.
I work full time and at the moment feel like my entire weekend is filled with food plan, shopping, cooking and various housework choses including laundry. I need to get into the habit of doing some (ideally most) of these tasks during the week so I can actually have some down time at the weekends to enjoy my days off. I am looking forward to getting started and heading off to catch up on the rest of the thread.0 -

Mr Wolf has kindly vacced the bungalow, to pick up the last of the Mishka hair, together with the Bessie hair and the Spaniel-tracked-in bits of the Great Outdoors, and he also dusted the lounge yesterday, so we're not too bad, at least ready for Suzie the Cavalier tomorrow.
He's also been to chase up the new meds that still haven't materialised a month after he saw the specialist.
Even he is seeing beyond shadow of a doubt that the stress is making me ill; I currently have serious fears for my mental health (which has always been on a knife edge anyway) - I'm now getting auditory hallucinations, as well as olfactory ones.
Oh well, just send for the men in white coats...... :cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Roundtuit I am so sorry to hear about your Mum. Sending hugs xx0

This is me as well. I really need to get on top of things, I'm a great list maker and even greater procrastinator! If I tell other people I'm doing something, it's more likely to get done, rather than moved onto next week's list, and the week after that, and...

Thank you allie xx and welcome  You are not alone - I too work full-time (usually- on bereavement leave at the moment) and I am always 'going to' fly more during the week but never get a 'roundtuit' (hence my flylady name) I have fallen off the flylady wagon more times than I care to remember, but they are a very friendly and forgiving crowd - who know only too well that life can get in the way of things. And it does work if you stick at it - every little helps
Welcome GreenQueen xx You can't beat a good list
Gentle hugs LW and all manner of posivibes heading your way xx
Mr T has delivered and I've put everything away :T DF has printed poem and eulogy and will bring them over tonight, with a supply of wild bird seed. Tick, tick, tick.
That'll have to be it for now - I'm running on fumes.
Much love to all flyladies everywhere.
