A cheap mobile provider on pay as you go- lebra mobile with 10p to any uk mobile network operators, cheap calls to abroad e.g. 4 pence to French landline. The top up is valid for one year, and if you do not use your phone that much, you just have to spend 5 pence every three months to keep your sim card active. The sim card is free, I have been using them since their launch. I was surprised not to see it on the comparison list.
Hope it helps:A0 -
Hi guys, i don't know if this deal is good enough to beat some of the ones i've seen on here but here goes its with O2:
I rang them yesterday to haggle on my parents behalf
Mum=

100 texts
£30 a month!!!!!!
now:
200 mins
400 texts
*free bolt on* of unlimited landline calls
£9.79 a month :T
Dad=

£40 a month!!!
now:

These prices are exclusive of VAT but including VAT for both phones was costing my dad over £80 a month, now it's going to cost him £22.50, and they've quadrupled their service! They also now get free voicemail and have had itemised billing removed.
The deal is a discounted £25 a month tarriff for 18 months or 24 months and includes 200 mins + 400 texts + a free unlimited bolt on!
the choice of bolt ons was:- unlimited landline calls
- unlimited o2 - o2 calls
- unlimited texts
- unlimited weekend calls
- unlimited web browsing

Any one notice that msn is stealing moneysaving stuff for their news. I guess they don't realise that this is well outta date now! I wish they still did sell the W180 for £2.88, I just missed out on buying one.0 -
I'm looking for a cheap contract deal for a phone with a decent interface, easy to use and decent camera. Tempted by the £8.50 a month Virgin deal with the Samsung G600, 100mins, 100 texts (with £30 cashback). However, i'm concerned about how much I will actually save against my current PAYG O2 mobile (many of the people I call on my mobile are O2, plus I get 500 texts and 100 mins plus bolt ons and O2 surprises).
I currently top up on average £15 a month, so my total spend on the contract shoudln't really excede that. On that basis, should I be getting a great short term deal on the phone model I want and unlocking it and then continue with my O2 PAYG Sim card?0 -
Seems everyone is able to get a better deal on mobiles these days so I did my homework and armed with what I thought were reasonable examples I called Orange...I have been a PAYG customer since 1997 and I'm thinking of switching to a contract...my Son was given £10 pcm off his contract when he switched, can we talk. Yes I'm sure we can do something...I was put through to business customers line. I have found some really nice deals involving a free Acer laptop (net-book, recently £150 in Asda)...Orange is saying £20.82 pcm for 24 months, T'Mobile is £16 pcm for 18 months. Yes that's right...£20.82 plus VAT! Can you match the T'Mobile deal? No! Oh...well thanks for your time.
I guess I need to 'port' my number and switch, but OUCH that was nasty!
Anyone know a friendlier provider who might match or better the T'Mobile deal?0 -
How many minutes/texts do you need on T-Mobile??

Not really worried about texts, a few would be nice, but calls to mobiles 50+ per month and about he same to landlines. Currently I top up less than £10 a month on PAYG0

If you don't mind cashback deals, have a look here (12 months free on a 12 month contract):

Not many minutes though. £20 from Quidco as well.
