Taken some of you comments on board and have spent the week decorating and moving furniture around. Have changed the pictures which I know aren’t the best angles but I will keep trying. Could I get any updated opinions / tips on what to change please?!

Knowing the area, I think people will move to the village for the excellent school, so more than likely a family buyers. I think it's clean and tidy, but looks a bit too unlived in. I'd move the table into centre of room as just looks squashed. A vase of flowers, odd picture wouldn't go a miss. Pictures aren't great and the front would look a lot better without car on drive. Nice house, great village good luck. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230

Quite a few of your pictures are pointless.
9,10,11,12 are taken in such close up they add nothing they are just pictures of beds or a wardrobe door. Look at pic 11 for example. It's literally just a picture of a bed. How do you think that is selling your house ?
On the upside it's innofensive looks like you can move straight in without hassle. Talking of which, is your house chain free ? It looks as if no one lives there so if that's the case and it's chain free, I don't see that's mentioned in the blurb.
Other than that this is a very quiet time of year to be selling so you need to be very clear on how competitive your price is and how that matches other similar.0 -
House is chain free as we are moving area & will be renting there but we are still living in the house at the minute til we sell.
The area is well known for the school yesI’ve actually bought some pictures but need to buy a hammer to them up lol
We did try taking the pic without the car on the front but it was hard to tell it was a double drive way that way
So far we’ve:
Redecorated master bedroom and put a double bed in it
Bought a single bed and mattress for spare room
Put single in my room (bedroom two) and rearranged the furniture
Decorated the en suite and bathroom, stick of tiling in bathroom to spruce it up
We have had offers but haven’t yet accepted as we have some upcoming viewings0 -
I think it looks OK, it is clean and inoffensive, I don't see that a lot of work would need to be done straight away.
The photos are still not doing you many favours though. Photo 7 is labelled as 'bedroom 2' but it looks more like bedroom 1 and, if so, isn't really showing anything new. A photo of the shower in the en-suite is needed, otherwise it just looks like a cloakroom (and people don't always bother to check the description). Photos 9 and 10 don't really give any idea of what the 2nd bedroom is like, 11 and 12 aren't great for bedroom 3 either.
I agree that the gap between the flags and decking looks ugly, can you either cover it or take photo from a different angle?
I do think the car needs to be on the drive to give some idea of size but it still isn't clear that it is a double drive.
It's not the best time of year to sell, many people will now be thinking about Christmas and start house-hunting again in the New Year. That said, the general consensus of this board is that anything will sell - at the right price. It's not difficult!
'Wander' - to walk or move in a leisurely manner.
'Wonder' - to feel curious.0 -
If you want to convincingly show a double drive, the best way is to put two cars on it.0
