  • Hi All
I have been reading this thread tonight and I am inspired to join you all.

I am going to sort out my box/tin/jar tomorrow and my first payment will be what I have made on a cash back site so will be able to advise the total then.

    Many thanks x

I raid mine this evening- kind of. Went to cash point earlier to get cash for weekly spends (£40 so far). Put £15 of it in the jar and took out £13.90 which is how much actually needed leaving £1.10 extra in the tin. Still have £25 allocated for Saturday take away- swapped £5 for £5 worth of change. (change from take away will be potted). Then as I had ended up with two £5 notes I swapped them for a £10 note for my jar.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

DD2 has bought a car, she's a bit nervous driving at the moment but confidence will soon come I'm sure.
DGS has started Nursery School, I can't believe he's 3 already, he's loving it when he gets there but when he comes in the house with mummy he say he can't want to go (his way of saying I don't want to)
He's bringing a book home tonight, says it's homework and he'll need to ring his eldest cousin to find out how to do homework because he's never had any before!

Thank you for my star Sue-UU :) I was happy to help as took me a while to figure it out myself.

Have had a good week. Potted the weekly £10, £8+ in change and £15 which I got for helping doing my mum's ironing.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I added some more change to my pot today so am now upto £52.60.
I don’t think I’ll be able to add much next week as I’m already quite close to my overdraft and payday is 14 days away.
