Good morning potters
Hope you're feeling a lot better now Sue ((hugs)) Not a lot of potting happening at sweetie villa at the mo. A LOT of money is being spent on Osteopathy and acupuncture for G, all to no availNow awaiting a hospital appointment for him with absolutely no sign of it coming any time soon.
Just a few coppers and a 50p piece in the pot but it will all help in the end.
Welcome to all the lovely new potters! Do enjoy the encouragement of this lovely thread. Happy potting !Sealed Pot Challenge #012

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is well.
I was out at a work do on Thursday, which was not money saving in the slightest, I won't tell you what a round of 4 drinks cost me.:eek:
Luckily the rest of the evening was free.
Anyway some of the leftover money has been potted before I can spend it. £10 in the pot, just need to keep using cash so I can see where it's going and also to give me change to pot each week.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend. XSPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Nothing to add to the pot but still surveying like crazy woman and Quidco looks like a lot of cashback coukd confirm soon!
Speaking to hubby we're going to withdraw cash for food shopping, so I can swipe anything not spent. It should help with our budgeting too. It's strange how cashless we are as a family. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
Hello Potters
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Ours was quite eventful, I popped into a local supermarket for a cabbage, leaving DH sitting in the car but when I returned the car wouldn't start! An hour later and the lovely RAC driver gave us a jump start and condemned the battery! The car is only 4 years old and now we'll have to fork out for a new battery - honestly, all I wanted was a cabbage!!!!
In pottting news, I have a wonderful £12.95 to pot today. Have a good week everyoneSPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830 -

Hi folks, and I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Let's hope the start of the weekend was good too, if not that tomorrow will be a good Tuesday.
To all SPCers who aren't well or who are low in spirits, do get well soon! For now, I truly hope you are all well soon! :grinheart
He he he Whatshername, I love your theory and how you expressed it!! :rotfl: Good savings again, very well done.
Hi again, little_sweetie. So sorry to hear that G's health is still not right. Bad enough as it is, but such a shame when it costs so much to try to put it right but sadly it doesn't, a chance we have to take, but not easy. I hope you're ok, the family too.I hope the appointment won't be too long for him.
Meanwhile, well done with whatever savings you can manage!
I'm much better thank you, with almost all of the itching gone, and what a relief!! Come and see us as often as you can, please!
That sounded like a terribly expensive first round, ETO!! Just as well the rest of the night didn't cost you anything!
I'm delighted you managed to pot a £10er!!! :j Well done.
It sounds as though you listened to your body, 32b3, and rested well. Far better to after a hectic time. I hope your friends were happy with the presents they bought, presuming they did. Brilliant work with your savings!! :dance:Bounty123 wrote:Only about £5 in the pot so far. Hope things pick up after Christmas.
Don't knock that £5er, Bounty123, isn't it better to have it saved than possibly spent?!Also, don't forget, it's next Christmas you're saving for. Keep patient and when it's possible add to it, but for now... you're doing very well indeed, so be proud. :grinheart
There are many just like you here, Choccygirl, barely a penny in the house due to everything being done through the bank or CC. It'll be wonderful though if you can get cash for shopping as that's how we get to save so well. :j For now, keep up with the surveys and be chuffed with what you get from them!
Fingers crossed with Quidco, I'll be waiting for you!!
Oh dear siju, those darned cabbages can cost a bally fortune these days!! Maddening, but it would have happened the next time you went anywhere, just coincidence the cabbage got blamed!!!
Fantastic potting though...yet you're moaning?!!
BTW Hubby & I had our 2nd Great-Grandson born yesterday lunch time!!! He doesn't have a name yet, though Mum and Dad have only two to argue over now. He weighed in at 7Lb 6ozs! It wasn't an easy birth at all, but thankfully Mum and baby are both in good health. Both parents are absolutely thrilled to bits, all of us too obviously!!Have a lovely evening and Tuesday, SPCers, and keep warm!!Sue
Opening date for SPC 12 will be 31st October 2019
