    Hi everyone :hello:

Still need to catch up on some posts, but jakes mum: I often speak to the cat on the phone if I'm away. Well, she looks around not impressed and I'm gurgling on the end of the phone. She's now looking at me with contempt/love... :rotfl:

Been MIA as I've been ill and then trotted off to New York with a friend. All saved up for without dipping into my Sealed Pot (as that's JUST for Christmas!). Lovely time away, but great to be back.

DH has been a great one and left £5ish lying around, so I've potted it! Also I've received a £2 coin in my change! :j :j You know how happy they make me. Also potted about £2 worth of silver coins. :D

Have a fantastic Easter weekend everyone.

Been on an Easter egg hunt this morning organised by my son’s holiday club. Well I spotted a shiny piece of roadkill on the playing field and my hand shot out with the speed of Usain Bolt; got home and inspected the spoils....it’s is only a blooming £1 coin!

It is now slumbering until 31st October with its friends while its new Mummy (me!) is a very happy Easter bunny! :EasterBun

Few more bits potted. Now stands at over £155.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

    Hello Potters

Well done to everyone for their potting efforts :)

DH and I had a lovely Easter, for the first time in many years, we stayed at home and had no visitors. It was absolute bliss! I do love going away and I do love to spend time with family, but just this once, it was nice to relax and potter around the house and garden. A really welcome break, helped I'm sure, by the fantastic sunshine.

Haven't spent a lot so I only have £2.87 to pop into my pot today. Enjoy the rest of the week Potters :)

  • Afternoon,

Still plodding and potting, although had to dip in to the pot for some parking change.

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter xx
