I've had a bid on one of my ebay items! It doesn't finish until Sunday - none of the items are high value but I figure every little helps right? £5/£10 here and there for things which are no longer required helps towards the debt and also decluttering the house - win/win!!
I've also been hit with an earlier-than-expected bill. We needed an outside repair doing on the house and the chap said he'd fit it in in December. Turns out he had a spare hour or so yesterday and, as he didn't need access, came round and did it whilst we were at work. Now he has said that because it was his change of schedule not ours, he can wait until December for the money but I wouldn't feel right doing that. Plus it needs to be paid sometime so might as well get it done.
It's £165
Less £130 from our joint account, set aside for these kind of things
= £35
Divided by 2 = £17.50 each to find and I'd like to pay him at the weekend. Will assess funds after the shops this evening, I've been doing quite well so I'm confident I'll have it by then - just need to keep on being good!£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Your challenge is really inspiring well done. Do you know about e-rewards surveys that pay in Nectar points? You have to be a 'member' but you already are because you have a Nectar card. Here's the sign up below, it's just the main one not a referral or anything. Mos of them are between 100-300 points and you can redeem at 1000 points = £5 onto your Nectar card.
They email you when a survey is available but it's worth clicking that same link a few times as there are often others available even when the website says there aren't.
Most credit immediately but some take 24hrs, and when you request the payment it typically takes 24hrs before you see it on your app - a little longer at the weekend sometimes. By clicking the link on any of their emails I frequently get 4-5 in a day, sometimes more, and I'm averaging £10+ a week without spending too long doing it. Last year I came to it late and made £120 for Christmas and this year I've made and redeemed over £300 and saved up another £120 for Christmas and £40 for the double-up in the coming weeks. All while watching tv!

Thanks joeyjimbles - great advice and I'll definitely look into that!
After the gym at lunchtime and an unplanned trip to see a friend last night (the journey in rush hour traffic made a large dent in the petrol) there were no more spends yesterday.£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Day 9/21
Today's menu:
Breakfast - crumpet from the freezer
Lunch - chicken provencale leftovers (last night dinner) with rice
Dinner - Quiche Lorraine with tinned new potatoes and spaghetti hoops
Hmm so today/this weekend is going to be a toughie. I start today with £15 to last me until midnight with £20 to withdraw for Saturday and Sunday. So £35 to last until midnight Sunday.
*pub at lunchtime today - I haven't participated in pub trips for a while and it's someone's birthday so I think I'll go today, need a bit of socialising sometimes. Max spend £5
*after last night I need petrol again £10 max to last the weekend
*I still need to add £12.50 to the earlier-than-expected-bill envelope as we're seeing the chap tonight to pay him
Leaves me with £7.50 to last until midnight Sunday!! I can't see me actually needing to pay for anything else - drinks already prepared to take to sports club tomorrow.
Should be fine - I hope!£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Spent £4.30 at the pub at lunchtime - had a really nice time so I'm glad I went and that's got it out of my system for a while now so I should be able to resist it for a few more weeks!!
Spent £2.77 in coop on some yellow sticker bits for the freezer and milk.
That left me with £27.93 - put the 43pence to my penny-a-day challenge, £12.50 to the earlier-than-expected bill envelope, will spend £10 on petrol on the way home leaving me with a round £5 in my purse until midnight Sunday!! Honestly can't see that we need anything before then so SHOULD be fine.£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Day 10/21 - nearly halfway there!
I’ve a doctors appointment this morning - so long as the rain holds off I’ll walk to save on petrol.
Drinks prepped and packed for sports club duties - it’s due to rain all afternoon so hope we get a win to make standing in it all afternoon worthwhile!
Brunch - ys sausages in rolls
Dinner - OH has said he will treat us to a cheap takeaway (he has recently had his LBM regarding his cc debt, one takeaway a week as a treat is massive progress for him - more about that another time)
£5 in my purse until midnight Sunday night and I’m still on track 👍🏼£30,000 £7059.17 DMP consisting of...

Day 11/21 - halfway there!
The rain held off until we were walking back to the clubhouse yesterday and we got the win we were after! Great result all round 👍🏼
No money spent and I found 15p in a coat pocket 😂 so £5.15 in my purse until midnight tonight.
This morning we’re walking in to town to see the ceremony at the war memorial and will get any bits we need in the shops afterwards.
I have 2 items due to finish on eBay - 1 will definitely sell and I hope to list a few more.
Breakfast - leftover sausages in rolls
Lunch - unplanned so far, will have a rummage in the cupboards
