Aqua credit limits?

Am currently working part time and living with parents. I've applied for an Aqua card to begin building up a credit history and wondering what sort of limit I'll get? I don't have any financial commitments, but my annual income is pretty low, so not sure how that will be seen by lenders.

If your just using it to build a credit history it doesnt matter how much they give you, does it?

Aqua cards are between £250 - £1200 initially. Expect nearer to £250 providing you're accepted.

Whatever limit you get be mindful it will increase with responsible use.

You may start off with £250 but have a limit of £1000 after a few months - no-one on here can tell you. It will be their decision based on risk. If you have limited history expect the lower end, the more history of managing credit the more reasonable a limit you can expect.

My initial limit was £600, increased after 5 months to £1500, then £2250 after 16 months.

It will depend on your individual circumstances, but use it responsibly and it can be a great way to build up some credit history.

    Good luck!
