NCP has decided to discontinue their claim against me after I was given a court date. BW Legal - Cowboys0

Good result.
I think a lot of cases will go the same way when NCP/BWL realise the Defendant is savvy. But there will be plenty who are so petrified when a court claim (even hearing date) drops through their letterbox, that anyone standing between them and their cheque book is likely to be mown down.
It’s primarily a debt collection strategy, not litigation, but it’s profitable. We haven’t yet seen a case where we have been involved get to a hearing - says it all I guess.
Well done on making them blink first. :T
Thanks for feedback. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Good News :T Try and get your costs from the court
Sean Barton and Ms Withers appear to be the Directors. They are going to be reported to the SRA when I get the time.
Do it sooner than later but bear in mind that the SRA has shown itself to be an "OLD BOYS CLUB", just like the BPA and IPC ?
So, shut your eyes if you scare easily ......

Reminds me of a back street car dealer filling gearboxes with sawdust. Dread to think what Withers looks like ????
OH further down, there is the Withers woman:eek:0 -

So, I received an email from the court yesterday and they said " Thank you for your email and we note your comments with regard to claiming for costs. However. the Court cannot provide advice to litigants on the conduct of their proceedings. You are recommended to seek independent legal advice from a Solicitor or the Citizens Advice Bureau.0
