Not long now, but don't leave it to the very last minute.
When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as described here:
1) Print your Defence.
2) Sign it and date it.
3) Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
4) Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
5) Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
6) Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defended". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
7) Wait for your Directions Questionnaire and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES thread to find out exactly what to do with it.0 -
Thanks, I am trying to get my defense sorted. Do you think it is ok?0
-
What do YOU think about it?
Any areas youre unsure of?
What other threads have you researched to see how defences work in practice?0 -
1) I think it's ok but then I don't know much about it.
2) I am a little unsure how it will all work out TBH
3) I have read some defence posts however I could not see a (final) outcome0 -
Ok, thanks for your help. I understand that it is ready.
I have signed and emailed my defence in PDF.
Thank you once again for your help.0 -
Just checked the MCOL site and it says that my defence has been received.0

26. The assessor will note from the picture below that the full terms and conditions on the signage are in a tiny font size. The driver has a diagnosis of dyslexia, causing a ‘substantial and long-term adverse effect’ on the driver’s ability to read, and therefore constituting a disability under the Equality Act 2010. This learning disability affects up to 7% of the population.
That's fine as a detail about the driver, as long as the Defendant was definitely not the driver (don't deny driving, unless it is true).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Haha, try searching this forum alone (using ADVANCED SEARCH) for the keywords:
another one bites the dust
...you will have enough threads to read in your search results, all about winning outcomes at hearings, to keep you busy for a month!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
