...and sent to claimant and court?0

Just emailed them the signed pdf copy.0

Could anyone recommend a thread for preparing a defence please?0

Sorry I meant WS0

see post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, also read all the ongoing current court cases on here that are at that point too, plus any concluded cases that have already had their WS posted during their course
research, research, more research , plenty to look for , but we wont do it for you
ps:- read what BARGEPOLE & LOC123 and others have said about witness statements (BOTH BP & LOC123 have posted recently about them, stating that its a story that only you are reciting to a third party, so its your story and only you know the details, hence why there are NO TEMPLATES)
ideally , read all their posts this year0 -
Just a quick question, just checked MCol and nothing has changed with regard to the claim. I was expecting a notice to indicate the court and hearing date so i could submit a WS.0
-
Have you written a Witness Statement then?
Are you planning to offer it for critique?
I believe you should see a line on MCOL when the case gets handed to your local court.
As it is less that two weeks that they have had your completed DQ, you may be a little impatient.
Once the case is allocated to your local court, that's the end of any MCOL involvement.0 -
I have not written one yet, I could not see a way of submitting it online?
I am hoping that I will offer it up for critique, i want to try and get it right.
The last updates are:
Your defence was received on 30/10/2018
DQ sent to you on 17/11/2018
DQ filed by claimant on 17/11/20180 -
your WS will go to the claimant by email and your local court, as will your evidence (your local court may be requiring paper)
until your local court is allocated and the papers issued, you wont have that information
it certainly will NOT be going to Northampton CCBC , they are the central clearing centre for the initial paperwork
you can still start on your WS and gathering evidence for your case, plus any other WS from third parties, even if these remain at home for now0
