It must be really hard adapting to new routine with the baby greentiger and so exhausting too which can easily lead to poor choices.:( Is it lunch or dinner that's proving to be a problem? I was thinking that if it's lunch (and perhaps you just grab snacks like biscuits) maybe if you pre prepared a pasta salad or something similar in advance it would help. Or if it's dinner and you're too tired to cook then maybe have some HM ready meals in the freezer where you only have to do some rice or pasta to have a meal quickly on the table. It could be none of these things of course!:D
I've got just about enough fresh stuff in to get through today so I can post my menu. I will do my meal plan and shop later so it might change a bit when I buy in more Speed. More meals out (3) coming up this week but I'm doing my best to be good when I can.:)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, banana
L: ham, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, spring onions (may make an omelette as it tends to be more filling)baked salmon, SW chips, asparagus, mange tout, tomatoes
Syns: 2.5 syrup and maybe more as it's Friday;).0 -
Some good losses coming in this week, well done everyone. It's definitely hard at this time of year but all we can do is be good when we can and careful when we can't!
I was amazed at group yesterday when my consultant told someone else that because she likes to use most of her Syns on wine (like me!) then perhaps she might like to try having a 105 sun bank at the start of the week and work back to 0! Of course she did qualify it by saying that it isn't the SW way but at least she recognises that it can work for some people!
Today's plan:
B - stuffed mushroom - couscous, mushroom, tomato, pepper topped with 10g of Philli light - 1 syn
L - bacon, mushroom, tomato & pepper omelette, pickles
D - Lemon sole en papillote; veggies & sweet potato jacket
HEA - milk
HEB - no sure
Syns - Philli light 1; weekend alcohol
No idea what the weekend will bring as we will only be at home for breakfast tomorrow and then dinner on Sunday night! Having lunch will a friend on Saturday, Dinner and staying over with DD2 on Saturday then off to visit my sister for lunch on Sunday. None of them do SW although my DD will probably do something SW friendly as she used to do it and know that I try to stick to it. My sister's shouldn't be too bad as she's doing a roast so it will just be for oil doing the potatoes. Also wine with lunch probably.
I'll keep track of syns as best I can over the weekend and then rein it back in again Monday to Wednesday as usual!

Very well done Beanie!
Gain for me , probably because I've been feeding my cold! I'll be very glad to see the back of this one, just a short trip to a local shop has wiped me out today.
Have a good weekend all.0 -

Brilliant idea! :T Why didn't I think of that!:D Good that your consultant can be flexible denise. We need more of those.:)Today's plan:

I've got lemon sole in the freezer and was wondering how best to cook it. Did you wrap it in foil or paper? Add anything to it? Advice would be welcome.:)
I was lucky again with YS in Sainsbury's. they have Christmas meats but obviously few people are buying them yet so I picked up a boned leg of lamb about 40% off. Also lamb steaks as we enjoyed a mini roast with them the other day. Also picked up some BGTY sausages to make my pigs in blankets.
I used the last of the Bolognese last night so will be putting more in the SC shortly.:)0 -

Maman I just sprayed a piece of foil with Frylight then placed the lemon sole on it and topped it with a couple of lemon slices. Sprayed the fish and then wrapped it so none of the juices/lemon juices escaped. Cooked for about 15 minutes or so at 200 degrees. Was absolutely gorgeous. DH even commented that it was the best bit of fish he'd had for a very long time (no idea what was wrong with all the other fish I've cooked in the past, LOL!).
That was a real compliment because his usual choice of fish is cod from the chippy!
By the way he's still sticking with SW and is now down into the next stone bracket and has just 7lb left to get to where he wants to be before deciding whether that's right for him or whether he wants to lose a bit more. Don't think it will happen this side of Christmas and as we are away beginning of January it probably won't happen until February.
I wish my local supermarkets had decent reductions on "proper" food, ours usually only has junk and ready meals. They were good bargains you got with the lamb.

RL is crappy at the moment, enjoyed a few days away last week, and was too ill to go to WI this week, hope to get back on track next week, hope your all doing good xI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
