Morning all,
Well done everyone on your losses!
I'm reporting STS for this week.. To be fair I should be pleased with this as been only 3 out of 7 days on plan. Hitting target before Christmas doesn't seem realistic anymoreBut I will try!

I have had a really busy week, other than to sleep & shower, I have not been home since last Friday, which made my week difficult to plan & work around everything I could not control, eg eating out and not knowing where we were going. However, I must have worked reasonably hard at what I could control as I came in with - 2lb. I was shocked as the best I was hoping for was STS or minimal gain! So starting this week a very happy bunny:j:j
Have a good weekend everyone!A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Well done gtq and sunflower. It's great to get losses.:D:TOxfordGirl wrote: »Hitting target before Christmas doesn't seem realistic anymore
But I will try!
Wise words oxfordgirl. I think that's all we can do is try our best. It's a difficult time of the year with all the social occasions and nibbles around. There are options and one of them is to just stick to plan and ignore everything around us. I admire anyone who can do that but it's not for me. I'm determined that SW has to fit in with RL. It might take a bit longer to achieve target (or in my case stay there) and I will make wise choices when I can but that's as far as it goes.
There's also the bonus that the longer I do SW the more fussy I am about what I have that's synful. I know I'll go over syns in the next few weeks but it'll be on things I really enjoy that are worth it IMO.:)
Not 100% sure about today. RL is a bit stressful at the moment so I may need wine syns this evening. I'm keeping an open mind and not putting myself under pressure. I've got a meal plan and shop to do today but I have enough in for today's menu.
EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO chickenless casserolechicken breast wrapped in bacon (fake kiev) with SW chips and stir fried veg

Reporting in with a 2.5 loss this week. Undid last week's curry and beer and this week need to be careful around a friend's wedding. Think I've got at least one event every week now until mid December. I'm going to adopt Denise's mantra "good when I can" for the majority but I do intend to thoroughly enjoy my work Xmas do. However having to catch a relatively early train and a rapidly reducing alcohol tolerance should help, just got to avoid buying chocolate for the train ride - thinking of that I'm going to take a free food snacks with me for the journey home.

I'm having a day shopping and being naughty - just had a fish butty! Forgot that it was Black Friday  Judging by the size of the TVs being bought in Tesco some people must have very large living rooms!
Weigh in this morning shows a 2lb loss! Don't know where that's come from really (hence the fish butty) but I'll take it gladly. One thing I have noticed recently... I seem to have finally got a handle on portion control. I never used to have that 'full' feeling at all but I do now and pay heed to it. Just change of habit, I imagine.
Some great losses this week, well done. All good news before the season of food and drink starts!
Stoke are you still here? Hope you're OK.
Have a good weekend, everyone.0 -
Well done everyone on the losses.
Hope your son's graduation went well and you enjoyed the day.
Been a busy day today but haven't been able to get on my laptop as DH has needed it to update his new satnav.
Having an on plan day today.
B - bacon and mushroom omelette
L - 2 pea soup
D - Basque fish stew. Not sure whether we'll have mash with it, will decide later once the stew only has 30 minutes to go so still have an hour or so until then!
HEA - milk as usual
HEB - undecided
Syns - wine
