You'll get there Oxford girl, it's just the last few weeks are slow.:( Next week might be better as being good (like being bad;)) always catches up.
Good luck for tonight bozwood.Yep, all the stuff that was put intravenously in to me will have weighed way more than 1lbI think your did really well with such a tiny gain. All you can eat can be an excellent choice for SW although it is hard to ignore the 'bad' stuff. It's always the chips and spring rolls that call me.:(
Change of plan for lunch - found some tuna and sweetcorn fritters in the freezer so going to have those with some chips & coleslaw; so 0.5 syn for LTL mayo.
Denise
Someone made those fritters at the taster last week and I enjoyed them. Is it a SW recipe?DH has decided he is going to join me with doing SW properly rather than just "playing" at it!
Good for him! :TI talked to my DH about that too. He's been quite good in cutting down massively on cakes and biscuits. His lunches have been much healthier but he's not taking the HEB seriously enough. He has a muesli which 'doesn't count' and then toast later. I've suggested buying different muesli but he's not keen although he has cut down on portion size. As we don't weigh he's happy at one notch lower on his belt but we'll see how we go.:)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix, HEA mil, half banana
L: LO ham hash with veg and picklesSW spaghetti Bolognese
Syns: Parmesan
I must have loads of syns left so I won't measure the parmesan. I feel slim enough but it's hard to tell if I've lost that elusive half pound.;)0 -
DH is OK with the 3 meals a day usually, although like your DH he likes his toast in the morning but unfortunately can't eat wholemeal as it upsets his stomach so he eats a granary bread which seems to be OK, not SW friendly but much better than the white sliced he used to eat!
This morning he said "I didn't have any toast this morning before you got up", LOL!
HEB is going to be split between dried apricots in the tagine and a hifi this evening.
Like you I'm OK for syns so will probably have another mini Vienna this evening and DH will have a choc ice (7 syns) or maybe the Lidl alternative to Magnum (9 syns, I think).

I weighed this morning and lost half a pound so really disappointed with that. Oh well I have had one toast 2 eggs mushrooms and bacon for lunch. I am having salmon and veg for tea0

Bozwood - don't despair - if you've had a good week it'll catch up next week. It's really annoying when you have a good week and either don't lose (that's me usually) or only lose a half. Just don't let it put you off. Just carry on with the plan this week and you'll see that loss you deserve.

I was a bit out with the Magnum alternative it's 15 syns:eek:. Not a problem for DH today as only had 0.5 syn today but not sure he'll be too pleased about that as he bought 2 boxes last week when we went to Lidl so that's 12 lollies to waste 15 syns on! And he wonders why I don't eat them:rotfl:.

Survived the all you can eat buffet. Definitely had all of today's syns, but I did make some sensible choices. Sushi, corn on the cob, roast chicken, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and fruit from the chocolate fountain (no I didnt have the chocolate).
Also had some not as good stuff, but it tasted good
They are the only syns I'm having today, so hopefully if I am good the rest of the week I might get away with it.Zebras rock0 -

Kathryn Good to hear you survived the all you can eat buffet. I'm sure you'll be fine if you stick to plan for the rest of the week. Good luck.
