Bozwood there are quite a few breakfasts you can have without using your HEB. How about eggs? If you eat eggs then there's veggie omelettes; SW fry up of bacon (with fat removed), fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans; boiled eggs with asparagus to dip.

Check out the website for other ideas in the Features section. I fairly sure there's actually a section for breakfasts without using your HEB.

I ended up on 5.5 syns yesterday but with No Alcohol - that's got to be a first for me. The syns were for frozen Skyr yoghurt from Lidl. Was very nice but has lots of additives but it was very nice - was surprised at the number of syns in it! Have saved the pot and just put some Skyr from the tub in it and put in the freezer so that will be Free. Probably won't be as soft but that's not a problem just need to get it out of the freezer a few minutes before I want to eat it!

    Today's plan:

    B - SW fry up
L - No Idea as have been invited to my DD1s by my DGD who came home from Uni yesterday to surprise her mum on her birthday - the whole family and her partner knew but not her mum! Apparently she cried when her DD walked through the door!
D - SC beef cheeks, onions, carrots, cabbage & mash

HEA - will be milk as usual
HEB - not planned as don't know what we'll be having for lunch although I almost guarantee it won't be syn free or even low syn!

Syns - will probably have a G&T or 2 or perhaps rum & diet ginger beer for a change. Plus however syns there are at lunch.

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Bozwood - I can find breakfasts without a B a struggle. If I don't have a B I tend to have syns >.< .

So what I tend to do is go for half a B instead, so if I have porridge, over night oats, or make over night oats (just the oats and yogurt) into pancakes just by adding an egg in the morning, or half half a serving of a cereal that's a B with a filling yogurt like skyr, then load them up with fruit, usually berries maybe a banana too.

I struggle to have speed in a morning to so those are probably better options for me! And keeps half my B free for later in the day :) usually used for Hi-Fi, a home made pud, open sandwich, or something on toast :D

I've had my usual breakfast - Weetabix (HE B) made with hot water, splash of milk and a spoon of sugar (1syn)

I might make a pumpkin soup for lunch, lots of pumpkins to be eaten. I never got round to finishing carving the one! Might make a fruit salad while I'm at it too... So that will all be free

Dinner - baked chicken enchilada from the new book

Going to try to keep it to that for my syns, in damage control mode! >.<

    Another lb on 😩

Changed meds, Dr said wouldn’t effect weight but when I read up on them it’s a side effect 😩. Also reintroduced gluten to get a proper coeliac test after 6 weeks. So am feeling really carp, emotional and generally !!!!ed off :(
Hope everyone else is feeling motivated though :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Sorry you're feeling so carp TIE. Must be awful having to eat gluten when you know it makes you feel bad. Hope you'll feel better soon and can get things sorted out better.

  • Sorry to hear life is throwing you another curve ball TIE it will get better I'm sure soon.

WI saw-1/2 lb.....this is going to be the hardest 6lb ever to lose.

Going out on date day today so will probably be off plan but I find that if I do go off on a tangent on a Saturday then I'm super strict the rest of the week so hopefully it will be more off next week

Happy Birthday Bubbs - hope you're being spoilt rotten x

    Sunshine...it's with hubby :rotfl:

I bought tickets ages ago for a play & then thought wouldn't it be a good idea to make a day of it, seeing as we haven't been out in our own for ages so son is dog sitting for us & we're going to watch the rugby ,have some food & then go to the play.

Hopefully it will be a good day.

In that case - dodgy hugs are compulsory - I find that at the beginning of the date a little whisper in his ear 'ooh I forgot to put my panties on'... works a treat!

    Double dare you!!!!
