You could post it if you have to.

There is clear guidance on exactly how to answer every question on the Direction Questionnaire in post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread. You are looking for the link to Bargepole's 'what happens when' post.

When you are happy with the content, the DQ could be filed via email as described here:

    1) Print the Directions Questionnaire.
    2) Sign it and date it.
    3) Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
    4) Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
    5) Just put the claim number and the words Directions Questionnaire in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Directions Questionnaire attached'.
    6) Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the DQ has been processed.

Don't forget to send a copy of the completed DQ to the Claimant as well - address is on your Claim Form.
  • Ah just as I thought, thankyou for
Confirming . They have sent one out so don’t need to print one. I’ll find someone to do the next bit as I don’t have a scanner unfortunately,
So hope that won’t take too long sorting.

Have you or your OH got a smartphone? Take a well focused photograph.

What about that son of yours who seems to have caused all these problems. He must surely have an iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy (or similar). Has he moved off his 4rse to do anything about this yet to help you?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • He’s actually away, he has a fairly new job and he has intense training courses galore at the moment so said I’d help, he did look into what happens and couldn’t make sense of what to do ( not on this forum I may add).
I have just had an email from pcm with attachment of their N180 and an N159 for me to fill in!!! Had I not of been speaking to you lovely people would just do as I’m told and fill it in. It’s weird they sent it isn’t it? I’m guessing they do this so I do it before the court sends N180 or is that not the case?

    It isn't weird!
    It's a strategy

Papers only removes most of their costs AND makes it harder for you to win.
  • I just wasn’t expecting them to send it that’s all, thought it would be the courts
  • Oh I didn’t know it would make it harder? I thought it was just hassle for them! I don’t stand much chance any way., I’m really not confident, but been told N180 was the way to go not N159 so not sure what to do now then?

Negative thinking is not a good idea.

Gladstones are well known by the courts so their chances are low
