I am still very concerned what On earth I can have as WS

The WS is just a narrative - the story of what happened that day with the SAR evidence to back it up.

Though the process is confusing, it is really quite simple and you'll be guided at each stage - as long as you remember to come back when you get the next bits of paper. Sometimes people forget over the 4 months to come back and panic at the last minute, so put a note on the paperwork to remind you.

Well it was my son driving and he parked over the end of his friends driveway which is halfway over the road too, simply because his friend the resident said it would be ok (4 occasions) over night. I’m not sure there is a defence for that is there? I know we were sent photos and lots of letters and I have no letters to refer back to now it there were signs that are on lamp posts so lit up etc, I don’t know what I can say they did wrong. This my major worry. Please can anyone help?

I’m sorry I can’t do this, it’s actually making me ill.
I don’t have a reason to dispute the tickets as far as I can see compared
To everyone else, they all have poor signage, lighting, wording etc, I can’t pick an error I. My husband thinks I’m just going to look stupid because when I have to write a witness statement and defence I can’t think what to put other than my husband wasn’t the driver . I need to consider this now otherwise I’ll worry right up until the court date letter. But I go from link to link and then get lost reading so many posts with so much information, I just can’t do this I’m mortified, I so wanted to show my husband I could help him win this as he was lost in the information from day one.

I’ve emailed dvla but what do I say to PCM exactly? Just could I have e copies of all correspondence sent to my husband? Why would they want to help with this? Surely they will ignore me?

Given your learning difficulties is there no one else who can assist you?

Your husband isn't helping with these comments! There is a lot to understand in this process.

As you been previously advised, the WS isn't too onerous.

Ask a friend to help out understanding what's needed as all explained in that post coupon mad pointed you to above (#2 in the FAQ)

Thankyou for replying. My husband understands even less than me if you can believe that and I have no one to help me no. What concerns me is if pcm and Gladstones seem to have done what they should from signs to letters etc, and my sons explanation was the owner said I could park there (no longer a friend because of this situation) what on earth can he say as a WS? I have no evidence of anything? That’s why I ask is it worth fighting? We all want to but just don’t feel we are in a position to with these missing points. Does that make sense?

I can’t fight this alone, I’m told everyone has selected ignore on me now so I’ll not get help from people in the know anymore. I actually can’t do it without them. I’ve been on here for 13 hours and still no better off than when I started, no case seems to match my son/husbands for no court case, and no excuse basically

You are not fighting this alone, we are helping. You are worrying about a really easy statement that gets made in a few months time.

But I told you that in the NEWBIES thread there is a list (with links) to typical evidence people can use...and examples of WS.

YES it is worth fighting, not least because the claim has added sums that cannot be claimed and those sums can also be attacked at WS stage.
