Can I be sacked?

This is either the return of the dilemma bot or a snowflake. OP if you are for real, then I don't like your tone either. If this is how you have approached your employer and colleagues, then it is not surprising that you are having problems. You may not like the advice, but you asked the question- can you be sacked? The answer is yes, and you would be well advised to realise that like the advice or not it is likely to be the only thing standing between you and that dismissal.
You are picking and choosing the advice you like, and I'm guaranteeing you that the advice you like is lovely- but will not save your job or get you another role with the employer. Personally, I don't give a **** what happens to you, or whether you like my advice, because you know what - it's not going to hurt me one little bit whatever happens to you. But it will hurt you.
So your tone isn't going to change the law, it isn't going to keep you in a job, and it isn't going to get you another one. You don't like good advice, then don't ask for it. Unlike your union, we had the courtesy of helping you straight away. Not that you're in the slightest grateful for that.

Just because someone doesn't spend every second of their time posting on here doesn't make them a troll, snowflake and whatever other names you call them.
I have heard back from the Union and have received some great advice and guidance from them, hence I felt no need to post.
Thank you to all who have been helpful.0 -

Excellent - it was conveniently the opposite of what you were told here.0 -

Hi Samsung
Jokes were made about my head scarf and my faith. My employer allows us to go for breaks to pray (I make up the time ofcourse) but certain people had issues with this.
I was left out of events after work, I was kept out of the social circle completely.
Missed out during tea rounds, despite me offering to get everyone a drink0 -
I'm normally a bystander on this forumDeleted_User wrote: »Jokes were made about my head scarf and my faith. My employer allows us to go for breaks to pray (I make up the time ofcourse) but certain people had issues with this
I applaud you for standing up for yourself.
No doubt, some of those who post under the disguise of being a "qualified" lawyer will have their own opinion0 -

Don't just make snide comments say who you are referring to.0 -

I don't think anyone here post under the guise of a qualified lawyer.
There are a couple of experts on employment law (who don't sugar coat their advice) but they would be the first to point out that this is an open forum where any stranger can pretend to be anyone or anything else and if qualified legal advice is required then you need to see a solicitor and pay for it.0 -

Thank you for your kind words.
People have their own opinions, which is fair enough, I expect that on a forum, but to go out of their way to post nonsense, to imply I deserve such treatment and that I am not being bullied is just cruel.
It doesn't cost anything to be kind and just because I don't spend my whole life on here doesn't mean I'm not a genuine person.0
