November 2018 Grocery Challenge

Some bananas and bread bought yesterday... So I think I'm going to go ahead and declare me done for the month! My biggest spend in a couple of months, but I've re-stocked the cupboards a bit, so things look fairly healthy.
Still came in under-budget.
I think I will raise the budget a bit, for next month, just to cover the Christmas catering I'm doing... Not sure what I'll raise it to, but it won't be more than £100. I might aim for £90.Because it's fun to have money!

Hello All. Well done everyone coming in under budget! I'm in awe of you guys keeping you budget in check.
I am anticipating going over. My weekly shop day is Thursday so most food bought will be used in December but it's way too complicated to fiddle the books. I'm at £564.63 at present. Impulse spends on miso paste and coconut aminos. Stock ups of almond milk, lovely Linda sausages and quorn nuggets which were on offer in sa1ns. At least the freezer is full!
Good luck to everyone crossing the finish line. Xx0 -
Howdy folks,
We've had a couple of spends tallying €11.42 and 3 NSDs. I'll go out today for some basics like vegetables, toilet paper, and yoghurt. Thanksgiving went really well and I've been working through the leftovers since Thursday. The carcass was turned into stock over the weekend and this morning I made creamy turkey soup with the last of the turkey and lots of stray veg. The shop today should be the last one for the rest of the month (fingers crossed) and OH's sister is visiting our sister with a friend for the weekend. We'll likely be eating out or walking about the city.
TOTALS SO FAR
€364.72 / €300.00
11 / 12 NSDs

Just done what I hope is my last shop for the month of November and have spent £84 of my £100 budget. Shouldn't need to buy anything else for the rest of the week. What do people do with their savings? Should I start a bulk fund with it?
Thanks for all the inspiration folks. I'll be doing the December challenge but just need to decide how much for.Barclay Card £3600 [STRIKE]HSBC CC £2587[/STRIKE] ZERO

Declaring now for November at £440.59/£400; not dismayed to have run a bit over, as it's been a very unusual month budget-wise & I think the family have done well, all things considered. Stocks are high, I know what's where and things are looking reasonable for December!Angie - GC Aug25: £374.16/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0
