While the stories ( linked to) maybe old, nothing has changed since then.
Personal data is still passed freely and largely unchecked from the DVLA's database to unregulated companies.
Some of the Voluntary organisations that I am involved with insist that volunteers are Enhanced CRB (DBS) checked before they are let anywhere near personal data, no such checks exists for PPC employees.
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

Green stretchy is what I use and always have. Below is how your posts appear to me. The bold text in your post #41 does NOT do this. (I've used a shrunken browser to avoid a huge image).

Seriously? You can't see what I'm alluding to?

In my screenshot compare your post (upper one) with my post (lower one). You'll see that your post has no more than a dozen words on a line then a new line starts ... mine has as many words as the forum width will allow before auto-wrapping on to the next line.

This means that YOU are pressing the Enter key lots of times when you are typing into the Reply box when posting here. I'm presuming that you're seeing your line approach the end of the box and so are pressing Enter ... simply DON'T; let the sentence wrap itself on to the next line.

Your posting style is VERY annoying.

Yes, I can see what you are saying ... to use the full width
    of the box

Happy to try this and let's see

Well you didn't in that reply. ;)

Seriously ... just type what you want to say and resist the urge to hit the Enter key - the text in the box will automatically go on to the next line. ONLY when it's relevant to start a new paragraph then use the Enter key (twice).

    :)

I raised this with BG around 18+ months ago. Hopefully we're getting to the bottom (end of the line!) with this. :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

"an operator that fails to comply with the code will lose its access to DVLA data. That is a severe penalty, making it effectively impossible to enforce a ticket. Further, if a trade association has been found to be breaching the code of practice, its status as an official trade association will be revoked immediately"

If you feel that your personal data should be restricted to parking companies who have been firstly scrutinised by the authorities for their data protection ...... contact Rishi Sunak
