Dyslexia - can i mention it in court even though it was not mentioned in my Defence? I can state that recalling things is difficult for me.

This question is still on my mind. I see that dyslexia may be covered by the Equality Act 2010. Am I right in thinking that you have a report on your dyslexia?

As regards whether it's too late to bring this up in some way, shape or form, I will search the forum and that's something you might like to do too and it'd be good to have others' thoughts if possible.

Okay, that sounds reasonable. So even if there has been no mention of dyslexia in the docs sent beforehand, it can be referred to where relevant in court.

sweetgem, I don't think the fact that you were in a hurry is worth mentioning any more. I reckon from here on it's time to focus on P.E.'s failings first and foremost. And then to be ready to explain how dyslexia set you an extra challenge. Do you have documentary evidence of your dyslexia diagnosis?

Dyslexia is a life-long condition which has a substantial effect on an individual’s day to day activities and is classed as a disability under the Equality Act 2010.

Dyslexic individuals often have difficulty processing and remembering information,

Contest what ? It's common for jobbing reps to represent the claimant

If the rep has legal standing , then although you could contest it , I doubt that a judge would uphold it

Concentrate on doing your own tasks

You now know what they are alleging and you can use that to build on, back up and support what you said in the defence.
