Oh gosh, please do not interpret that as me worrying about causing them hassle. QUITE THE OPPOSITE!!

I will most certainly send it off tomorrow, but if EPM responds saying they requested my details from the DVLA, stored and used them to send me invoices, and shared them with their solicitor, how does that help me? Perhaps I do not understand the purpose of us doing SARs...

You put them to task to reveal every bit of information they hold on you, under what company name and number it was issued/traded/shared with others, who they were, what they used it for. Copies of letters they exchanged with others containing your details. The more preparation and fine tuning you apply to constructing your SAR, the more you paint them into a corner and the more unattractive you become for them to pursue.

And the beauty is, they cannot, by law, refuse (or ignore) to respond. If they don't fully answer your questions, you refer it to the ICO, then old {Edited by Forum team} will have to answer their questions!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

however as stated several times it is not ethical/one parking or whatever they are called this week asking you for money , forget padi on this one , use data from companies house

if they were trading "as" then they would be using group on letter and stating that they were getting monies for THIER company , however they are DIFFERENT companies and at time of incidents management were dormant

ethical group have never been BPA/IPC members

tiz all smoke n mirrors ,

If Ethical Group decides tomorrow to trade as "XYZ Parking" and issues parking tickets under that name WITH their official address and their company number on the bottom, that isn't going to invalidate their contracts (parking tickets). Companies can and do use trading names all the time!

I don't get what is different here, except that the trading name EGL uses happens to be identical to one of their other company names. That doesn't mean they are claiming money on behalf of a DIFFERENT company, rather they are as you rightly say using smoke and mirrors.

However you are right that EGL are not members of an AOS which is useful indeed.

Thank god these are the last parking tickets in the pipeline lol

ethical group have never been a member of the BPA or IPC and as such cannot get info from the dvla , a company IN the group called management , that were dormant at the time of the incident sent you a ticket at the time , having used AN Other group members name to get info from the DVLA etyhical group and ethical management are two seperate companies with different company numbers (and directors) , a BPA or IPC member is not allowed to sell or give details to a non BPA/IPC member

i you follow the links you will see the companies are intertwined and often (used) to use incorrect signage at sites

as stated very early on , {Edited by Forum team} is hoovering thru his piles of unpaid tickets from ALL the companies closed down , dormant or whatever and using zzps no win no fee for his xmas bonus , I have read and seen a few of those both here and at pepipoo over the last year

expect very little back in regard to SAR , but a copy of your origional ticket , with company number would be interesting reading (especially by the DVLA)
