I rang the magazines customer help line yesterday and was told they had just received the game and it would be posted out within the next 2 weeks, but I received the letter today with the flight offer. Here we go again, I am really going to go to town with this one, I am so fed up with these offers that never come to anything. Will report back and let you know when I have been in touch with 'great magazines'.

we got same thing n got the tickets after ringing the other day and the lady said yes yes the ganme will be with you soon , it a pressie for my uncle and to be honest i cant see him going abroad its not his thing so i have no pressie for him now !

I too received the flight tickets today. This is particularly annoying as I'd called a number of times and been informed that the game had been ordered and would be on its way.

After two telephone calls to the magazine subscription company, they have agreed to refund me my initial £38 less the cost of one magazine. I will receive a refund of £34.83, and they've told me that the next magazine which is already in the system and can't be stopped (my God! It can't be stopped!) will be free of charge.

I'm absolutely livid about not receiving the game, but at least they're sorting out the refund with only a little quibbling.

I strongly suggest that you all stick to your guns and demand a refund. If you put enough pressure on, and ask to speak to a supervisor if necessary, they will give you your money back.

Alternatively, the number for FHM itself, which the helpline bizarrely referred me to when I first phoned, is 0207 436 1515. I didn't get any help from them, but did leave a voicemail message pointing out how disappointed I was with their shoddy replacement.

Hi guys, I just double checked here to make sure everyone else has received their game, and am shocked to find that barely anyone has! I also feel slightly guilty as I posted this lead in the first place.

I received "Assassin's Creed" Yesterday. I had phoned last week to enquire, and they said it took up to 28 days, and sure enough, pretty much bang on 28th day, Assassin's Creed arrived.

Has ANYONE got the game apart from me?

Assassin's Creed arrived with me a couple of days ago. As the game is £30 in Game stores right now, and I was going to buy it anyway, it means the FHM subscription is costing just £4

I have just been in touch with Great Magazines and they told me I would not get the game as they have ran out of stock and I said I wanted to cancel the subscription. I was told to put the reason why I wanted to cancel in writing and I would get a refund. here we go again.

Mine has still not arrived and when I spoke to them yesterday, they said that althought Wed 19th Dec was 28 working days I would still have to wait as they have had run out of stock. But they have got more now and have just sent them out. I was told I would have to wait until Mon 24th and if I still did not have it they would then send out another copy!!

Not a good service and as I was going to use it as a Xmas gift it is a pain.
