Yes, I did collect it from Post Office.
They was no returns address on the sheet (there was few months ago). They system has changed.
Was the message from Amazon not clear on this?0 -
OK, as an update to this thread I'm just in the process of having to return something to Amazon. It seems that they no longer give you the option of printing the label yourself and taking it to your nearest (and convenient) post office, if you choose Royal Mail then you must use the label printing service at a RM Delivery Office. Be aware though that not all Delivery Offices has this facility, certainly the one here in my Dad's town doesn't so he would have no option to use Royal Mail at all.
It does seem like a very backward step by Amazon and although they do give other options, eg, Hermes drop-off or the more expensive Hermes collection, and to be fair they make the options very clear, it does now make it less convenient for customers wanting to return items to them.0 -

I've just done a return & the option for return via a post office (as opposed to RM delivery office) is still there, however its under the generic "Dropoff" option (which includes shops or lockers as well) rather than a dedicated "post office" option.0 -
and what do you do after you have printed the label?
Well, PO is in my routine, delivery office isn't.
I've just come across this system for 1st time, having usually printed a label at home for Amazon returns.
It's giving me a code to take to a Hermes shop - ok, again, out of my way but I'll go.
Tells me to take my phone and app to show them code.
It's my phone I'm returning. :rotfl::T
And it's his Amazon account we bought it on and he doesn't have the app.
I do, on my phone that I'm returning, but we didn't buy it from my account.:rotfl:

Well I was glad to see this thread. I'm trying to return a small item that couldn't be less like I ordered, packed in a large box with other stuff and cannot get a label to print.
It keeps giving me a QR Code but I don't have a smart phone. I'm on a laptop. It can't be copied into a document I can print.
I can see me having to take the lap top to the main mailing office!
I've been working around the problem for the last 3/4hr. It's 10miles to a Hermes office.
So if anyone can help I'd be grateful.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Aside from bumping a seven month old thread...
You're doing something wrong because you don't scan a QR code at all. You just print a label out, stick it on your package and then take it to Hermes.0 -
