What's really easy about having to go to a Delivery Office to print off a label that you could've printed in the convenience of your own home.Colin_Maybe wrote: »Presumably the part that makes it really easy to return items.0 -
This is ideal for anybody that has not got access to a printer.
Hermes/Ebay have started a similar service https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ebay-try-hermes-printerless-shipping-for-just-1-up-to-2kg-30583950 -

Don't like this new system!
You don't have to use it.
There's an option for having a delivery office print the address label based on a QR code on your phone & there's an option for printing the label yourself & taking it to a Post Office( or amazon locker or local shop)0 -
But it seems that the OP wasn't presented with that option, else I'd imagine it's exactly what he wanted to do.You don't have to use it.

Well, I think the issue is that Post Offices are lot more common than delivery offices. It is usually easier to get to a Post Office.
So take it back via the Post Office instead. I'm not seeing a problem. If you don't have a printer or,like me a few weeks ago, its broken you have to traipse to the delivery office. Otherwise take it to the PO0 -

I assume you mean wasn't?
Its possible, or its possible they misread the description (I did the 1st time I saw it as an option and assumed you could do it at a PO not just the Delivery office) & ticked the wrong box.0 -
Post Office is 7 mins walk but they couldn't scan the QR code, that's why I had to take the bus to Delivery Office 10 mins away from my home.
Yes, I did collect it from Post Office.
They was no returns address on the sheet (there was few months ago). They system has changed.0
