can I also ask for them to supply specific information about the alleged infringement i.e. photos from the car park, a record of whether the meter was working or not, etc.?Not in a SAR email to their data protection officer.
But separately you can email and point to the Civil Procedure Rule 1 'overriding objective' (Google it) and the pre-action protocol for debt claims (read it) and ask for the information on that basis, to narrow the issues in dispute.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You can only ask for your data , not their evidence of contracts etc
You can ask for all your photos pertaining to your vehicle , paperwork pertaining to you as a data subject , PDT machine records (redacted) from say an hour before until an hour later , but no data on any other person or vehicles
Any Evidence not pertaining to you as a data subject is off limits , so not the landowner contract etc
If you do ask for pictures of signs , contracts etc , do not be surprised to be ignored on those aspects
Send the email to their DPO , attaching proof of I D under the GDPR law
The SAR template in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum is usually good enough !! Why are you not using it ?3 -
A SAR is of course only about your personal data. So a sar can only request your personal data.Follow C-M info as a ice.2

Hi everyone and thank you for your help on this matter thus far. The last letter I received from ZZPS was on the 4th Dec (I received two in total). I submitted a SAR to Park With Ease on the 11th of dec to which they replied that they noted my request and will action it within 28 days. By my calculation that period is up this Friday but I don't know if holiday dates/weekends need to be factored in or not. Today I received another threatening letter, this time from QDR Solicitors informing me that they have been instructed by ZZPS (their client) who act on behalf of Park With Ease Ltd. Payment must be made within 14 days, etc. Failure to do so may mean a Decree against me with potential impact of negatively impacting my credit rating, prevent future lending, affect current and future prospects of employment, earnings arrestment, etc. They then go on to inform me of a separate case from 2017 where they successfully won against someone.
I hate bothering you guys with this but having these threatening letters arrive on my doorstep from apparent different companies over the last 5 years is taking its toll. I already suffer from severe depression and this past year with COVID has made the situation considerably worse. These constant threats are adding to that a lot and especially when I look at the consequences I'm potentially facing by not paying. So, I'm suffering because of my concern and anxiety but I also have a strong case of right and wrong which is why I feel I shouldn't give in and I should fight this, but I'm weary. I have read the newbies thread a number of times but please don't berate me if I've missed anything. I'd like to mention specifics of the alleged parking infraction so you could provide me with an idea of my chances of winning, but I think that would be unwise and may count against me if those threatening me read this forum, I don't know. What should I do now? Thank you.0 -
Nobody should be telling you your chances of winning , sometimes bad cases win and good cases lose , it's a lottery with judge bingo a big factor
These letters from different places are the bully boy tactics to give that fear factor you are experiencing , but chasing up alleged debts like this is normal and accepted practice. We know it's bullying and gives the symptoms you describe , it's doing its job
Unless you receive a formal LBC with 30 days notice and includes financial forms , and or a court claim pack from the CCBC in Northampton , there is nothing anyone can do
The 14 days notice is a mere debt collector letter and can be disregarded
You could pay a solicitor and get professional assistance , which is what Martin Lewis would tell you to do , but that is expensive , very expensive , so rarely recommended
At this stage I cannot see a way out , but ensure that you have complained about it to the landowner , complain to your local MP , try to get it or them cancelled , that is your best option2 -
Thank you Redx. I can't afford a solicitor anyway plus I'd probably end up paying more for the solicitor than I would for the fine. I originally complained to the landowner, they said they wouldn't do anything. I complained to Sir Greg Knight. I understand a Parking CoP Bill was passed in 2019 but that doesn't seem to have made any difference to these rogue companies like Park with Ease. They continue unabated. They provide fancy number plate recognition systems in their car parks and when these don't work you're supposed to pay online within 48 hrs. How does that work if you're away, don't have net access or simply forget. No warning, no friendly reminder, straight to a hefty fine. It's very unfair and how this allowed to continue in a civilised society is baffling. Are the threats they are now making legitimate concerns re credit rating, etc? Is it worth me contacting QDR Solicitors to let them know I'm still waiting on my SAR from Park with Ease?0

I do wish the owner of QDR, that's Wright Hassall Solicitors would train QDR that ZZPS are NOT the claimants and CANNOT instruct them ..... Only Park with ease can do that.
This incompetence only makes Wright Hassall look stupid
ZZPS are just part of the clown industry attempting to scam people.
You now ask QDR for a contract between you and ZZPS ..... THERE IS NONE and the PPC are not allowed to sell such debts to third parties without DVLA authorisation.
This is simply cronyism and frankly, complete crap
