Afternoon all,
Clf, hope you're feeling better now.
Still plodding along trying to keep my brain busy. So its just a same old same old kind of list from me today.
* Ds2 to free school breakfast club
* Refilled water bottle at the gym
* 2 loads washed on the quick 30 degree wash and now hung outside in the sunshine
* Ironed the shirts I'd washed yesterday, everything else was just hung away in the wardrobes
Still to do
* rm surveys
* check banking
* another module of the online training course
* apply for ds2s secondary school place
* save photos off my old phone
* make families lunches for tomorrow
* all meals are going to be leftovers
* dust everywhere as the skirting boards are looking quite velvety!
Take care all x
Not part of todays plan but I was hungry!
so I've made
* another batch of melting moments
* a batch of chocolate chip fairy cakes - although these are in the oven at the minute and don't look like they're rising but can have with custard or yogurt if they don't come out well! - update -- they definitely need custard!
* placed an order with body shop to make use of a voucher I had on there and an offer
went through cashback site too Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Thanks
I'm so-so, just really wish I could have a lie down. How's your back now?
Gotta laugh at the velvety skirting boards. It reminded me of a time when my brother and I (aged about 11 and 13) were left home alone for a couple of hours and decided to do all the housework for mum. When she got back, the first thing she said was
"well you didn't dust the skirting boards did you!"

Thanks for asking, my back isn't as bad as last night thankfully, keeping moving today is helping and when its time to relax later I'll have another hot bath and then get the hot water bottle out again.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Update from yesterday:- bike to work etc etc half done, biked am & took OH's car to the garage pm

- make some oaty cookies for snacks, trying out using the coconut flour I bought um, a while ago
as I only have bread flour otherwise! done, I was careful with the coconut flour but slightly overbaked them! Oops. They're ok. Wouldn't pass the OH test though :rotfl:
- put on some more no-knead bread ready to cook up tomorrow (that'll be the last of the bread flour) done
Today is quite busy:
- take my car to specialist garage done, and biked in this afternoon
- all meals and snacks from stocks
- try to identify the washing machine leak (probably with the help of youtube)
- walk pooch for free exercise
- bake up the no-knead bread
- 1 more online studying topic

Evening all :hello:
Just a quick check in as I'm still busy and now also not feeling very well (I suspect this is because I'm tired). Another nsd today.
I've had lots of meetings at school which means that I've had to bring some work home with me this evening. Ah well. It's busy but not too bad stress wise, I just don't have enough hours in the day to do everything that needs to be done.
Dinner has been lovely - steak that I found in the freezer. I'm not a great cook but I really enjoyed it.

Morning frugal pals :hello: sending virtual hugs, tea and cake to those that need it, for whatever reason. Hope it helps.
I’m up early as I want to get on the road before the traffic as I have a loooong day and want to achieve something before I sit in what seems like endless meetings.
I’ve a packed lunch and HM cake and a hot drink for the commute
other things:
Check banking - done
Washing done overnight, DH will peg out
Double check utility switch later our deal ends next week and I want to move suppliers. Found a decent flexible deal yesterday but want to check it again
Add a gift card to an account of mine so i don’t forget about it, even though I am not going to spend it just now (it’s on an email)
Print something at work I need for the weekend
Be productive at work so tomorrow is a bit more straightforward
Get something out of freezer for tea
Have a good day. Purps.0 -

MSE things today:- B/L/D from stores
- Ask OH to bring the washing in - done
- Dinner in SC - done
- Took gas and elec readings. They think my gas reading is wrong but I think it's because they expect that I should have put the heating on by now, but there's honestly been no need! - done
- Heating off
- Checked elec usage d/t halogen bulbs in kitchen. 3p per hour. Def look into switching out those bulbs. Reckon this equates to about £3 per month or more. - done
- No sugary stuff
- Some knitting
- Charge phone in work - done
- Gym at lunchtime - no, too exhausted

CCL getting steak right is a skill! I consider myself a reasonable cook but I am not good at steak.
