I was skeptical cos there were three other distributors in the area.
I have paid off all my debt, now have savings and bought a brand new £27,000 car in March this year - for cash!! I have laso paid off my mortgage and have another property which I rent out
Basically, Kleeneze works if you work at it! Anyone who says they lost money at it obviously didn't work at it properly. It is not a get rich quick scheme, it is a serious business for people who are serious about bettering their lifestyle.
Kleeneze is great but with the caveat is that you DO have to work at it. I now earn £3,500 per month part-time from Kleeneze but ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE WORKED AT IT.
Hi
Thats great but perhaps we need to clarify for people interested how much you actually earn from your own retailing and how much from your team and how much do you invest back into the Business in terms of effort and finance and team support/training?
I got to Gold Distributor in under a year but was unable to hold it, too many people come and go and I couldn;t keep the holes plugged in the team or generate enough interest even though i was ploughing most of the profits back in for advertising and training. Its a great way to earn an extra £50 a week from your own retailing efforts which is perfectly doable if you are prepared to work hard, don't mind competition from other agents and don't mind having to go out in evenings (best time to catch people in) but the bigger earnings do take a lot of time, looking after your team, continually building it and going to trainings and there are no guarantees and it doesn;t work for most people for whatever reasons. We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0 -
I am NOT spamming. Just joining in with the debate.
If Kleeneze is so overpriced, how come so many people buy from it (My own business turned over £750,000 last year) and how come so many people are making a living out of it?
As pollypickle said, many people appreciate the service given. Just because some people do not want the service or do not want to join the business and make money from it does not mean it is a bad thing. Not everyone uses BT for their phone calls and not everyone buys their clothes and food from Marks & Spencer but both of those company have got a very good business and provide a good service that many people use.
This forum is about paying off debts and making money - that is what Kleeneze has helped me and many others to do. The forum is not about slagging off other peoples choice of career.0 -

You say "it doesn't work for most people". You are incorrect - most people do not work for it!
When I first started I earned over £1,000 in my first month without any team members at all. So to say that you can only make £50 a week from retailing is incorrect. I earn what I do from the team building simply because I have shown a lot of other people how to make money with the business. As you know, if my team do not earn any money, I do not earn any money.0 -

But do "so many" people make a living out of it ? or are they just earning a useful second income?
Yes people can make a decent second income from it, I joined because it fitted around my 3 yr old, she came with me. I put out 100 brochures 2x a week and got over £200 orders on my first drop and over 9 months built a very rewarding customer base so i have no problem with recommending it as a second income if all the facts are presented (you will lose catalogues and have to buy more regularly, you will have delivery charges and internet ordering fees, it will take time and effort and you may only pick up one or two orders on your first few drops but after 6 months or so you should start seeing teh results), teambuilding - thats a total different kettle of fish.We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0 -
yes it works ok if no one else is doing it in your patch, you also have to pay for any lost booklets. If you put in 60 hours a week and have a huge patch to yourself (unlikely) you could make reasonable money after a few months, but they dont tell you these thingsnever put off buying a bargain today,it may be gone tomorrow0

Cant speak for any where else but I dont know anyone who buys from them and I have seen countless new distributors trying to flog a dead horse. I bet they give up soon as they hardly make any money
I often see them on my street picking up old mags left outside there door, never see them return with goods.
Most of the stuff in the catalogue is over priced.toblerone7 wrote: »I am NOT spamming. Just joining in with the debate.

Perhaps you could tell us how many catalogues you put out in your first month to earn £1,000 because isn't the quoted figure for orders £1 a catalogue on average (and most people when they start out don't hit that, i've had team who have hit 25p, while some have hit just over the £1), and then you only get a smallish % of your order value in commission please be honest .
Also why is it that everyone shows their largest cheque as evidence of earnings even if it was 4 years ago and their team has disappeared since?
Remember also that in most cases those cheques are subject to tax and the real figure has to be taking into account lost catalogues, delivery charges, stationary, any lead generating activities, internet charges, fuel for your car if you are using one, car tax, insurance etc etc etc.
Most of the people i know who have been successful (or perhaps i should say appear to have been successful) in Kleeneze have run it alongside their full time job for several years so they can plough any profit back into it, those that join because they need the extra income just for everyday living (like we did) get caught up in the hope that a few more people recruited and one may be a star and can't afford to use their profits to invest back in and thats where you are told do more retailing which we did at the expense of our family life, my parents used to cry seeing how hard we were working and they could see we weren't getting anywhere, seeing the grandchildren getting dragged around, doing their homework in the car while we were out and about, 5 years - BIG lesson learnt. We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0 -

As Toblerone7 has said Kleeneze is a serious business opportunity for business minded people. I don't know of any type of business that you do not have to invest money back into to cover costs such as advertising etc. I also can't think of any businesses that do not have competition. Many new businesses don't even expect to make a profit in their first 2 years!
:rolleyes:0 -
Okay I accept is it more of a business but its is being sold like that? I bet in some cases people are doing it with high expectations, but alas that isn't always the case0

i did bettaware a few years ago but even with a lot of orders the pay out was rubbish considering how time consuming it was, so i suspect kleeneze would be less financially rewarding because you have to pay for books etc. if some how people can make money from it good luck to them. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
