there is NO apology from the hotel or acknoledgement that they have done anything wrong!

That's probably largely due to the fact that they haven't.

As to an explanation - your husband was the victim of a robbery. I don't think there's much more to explain than that.

Even executive gentlemen get drunk and do things they shouldnt.

regardless though, the thief is to blame , no one else.

OP's not going to believe that no matter how true it is or how many times she is told as evidenced by her increasingly hysterical posts.

I 'm not quite sure what you expect. Do you think they should have a security man on every floor questioning all who enter? I'm sure all the guests would love that. Even if areas are only accessible with a key card there's nothing to stop people going in behind someone as they enter.

What on earth are you talking about??? If you don’t have anything useful to say shut up.

I’m not hysterical- what I am very surprised about the rude assumptions posters have made. My understanding was this was a helpful forum.

I thank serious posters for their comments. I’m in Spain and my husband is in London, his plans delayed and beaten up by Russian male thugs. I think I have the right to be a little upset and concerned

It is not the hotel's fault. is it their fault for not employing more burly security? For not scrutinising people in the hotel more carefully to make sure they are executive gentleman worthy of their 5 star experience or filthy reprobates who may rob someone....

No. Its not their fault. No more than it is your husbands fault for not being vigilant and spotting the robber stalking them. Not being strong and masculine enough to fight off a robber. For not screaming for help to frighten them away. All ridiculous reasons.

By the sounds of the Ops last post it was a shame she wasn't with him when it happened.;)

OP a word of advice. You don't tell people to shut up, it isn't taken to kindly.
