I like your house. I think its a pleasant enough home. However a quick search reveals 3 bedroom detached within 3 miles for circa 140k . Now i realise there are differences in area but i do think its indicative about what is happening and that is a growing realisation that the housing bubble is about to deflate. A lot of people will be caught in neg equity.

I have money enough to buy a house, but im not spending it.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

It seems to me that prices are dropping in London and rising in northern England.
There was a lot of money created with QE, but it hasn't really led to an increase in house prices outside London / SE since 2007-8.
    Yet.

Yep, and there will be a massive spike in "Why isn`t my house selling" threads. All very sad :(

Yes there is space on the kitchen surface for food prepping, have just had a look at the photo and I think I’ll ask the estate agent to see if he can take another one of the kitchen to show this :)

Might be worth asking them to remove picture 6, the angle makes the kitchen look very small

The Land Registry sold prices on Rightmove are showing your property at leasehold -

    "Land Registry sold prices

    £115,000"

  • Bluntly, it looks like every other modern new build; not especially spacious, not much parking, not much storage, not much of a garden, lots of close neighbours and standard decor out of the Next directory. Price is about the only thing that is going to make it stand out.

We bought it for £50 more than the asking price 9 years ago so gutted. Our street is a selection of my house and townhouses. The townhouses have all sold for more money. There are two houses the same as mine on the market for £50 more than we are asking. There just seems to be no interest at all. Was hoping that I could do something looks like another price reduction I think.

No, almost all sold at a loss, with only one breaking even:

    No.17 - bought March 2010 £120k, sold Feb 2017 £115k - £5k loss
    No. 26 - bought March 2010 £125k, sold Oct 2016 £125k - £0 loss
    No.34 - bought March 2010 £126k, sold Oct 2016 £123k - £3k loss
    No. 37 - bought Aug 2009 £125k, sold May 2016 £123k - £2k loss
    No. 35 - bought Au 2009 £126k, sold Jan 2016 £123k - £3k loss

Only No. 19 was sold for more than the owners bought it, but that was still £5k down on the price paid when new.

Suggest you probably need to be marketing at c.£110k to get any interest - try £109,950 and see if anyone bites...

Its coming up as leasehold - along with the whole estate.

i'd say over priced No 17 is bigger and sold for 5k less.

also the market has stalled since Mark Carneys speech on potential house price drop come Brexit.

The other two are offers over mine is just £114,950. There is an end terrace, a mid terrace and I am attached to an entry to flats on one side and my neighbours house is the same layout as mine not a mirror image. Do you think it need to made clearer that I only have a neighbour on one side ?

That would potentially be an issue for me. Are they private or social housing?
