    Belated happy birthdays Valli!!

Fell off this week as we had a project at work for Amazing Spaces/Grand designs to finish so working 6am -11pm zzzz

Anyways I woke at 5am - body clock broken - have been up, done some of the lists , showered, took the boys for a Toby breakfast they’ve been going on for for ages then did the shopping. Didn’t need lots just to make meals with. Done some more washing since I came back, filled some forms in, filled the dishwasher and put some stuff in the sink to soak. Going to have a break then Strip my bed
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Bed stripped, lots of clothes in WM. Himself has done washing up and is sort of cleaning the countertops. I even heard the vacuum cleaner for about 45 seconds.

I've chucked three pairs of ancient, nasty trackies that you could probably get two of me into on the basis that I have some lycra yoga type ones that actually fit and can actually be worn in a gym. No doubt I'll be grumbling about their absence shortly.

Scooted around living room picking crud up, same in bathroom. I am not clearing up his hair clippings, though - if he's insistent upon getting rid of the remaining bits of pelt on his head, he can flaming well clean them off the landing carpet himself.

This is all partly because not only did he get in late after his gig, he'd phoned me for directions to get home again just as I was falling asleep, asked me to go to the shops and pick up some beer because it was such hard work (I declined on the grounds of being knackered after working all week) and then insisted upon eating at 2am. I had just had the first signs of a very angry AF visit as well, so I then ended up not sleeping until about 5am as paracetamol wasn't touching it in the slightest (and there wasn't even much to show for it at that point).

Feeling a little more human/not as though my insides were trying to crawl out and strangle me at the moment, though. So it's the best time to get some more house stuff done.

Returned from lovely holiday yesterday so lots to catch up with. Belated happy birthday to those I missed and good vibes for those struggling.
Weather was better than we hoped, so brought several clothes back untouched which reduced the washing load. Unfortunately the kitchen floor hasn't completely dried, so Mr N reconnected the wm and we began a load- still a slight leak, but did 2 loads to get it out of the way, with a bowl under the leak.
    Filled Bird feeders.
    Fed, pruned, tied tomatoes.
BIL brings MIL back tomorrow and will stay a couple of nights so we had a team flying blitz:
    All upstairs vacuumed
Spare room dusted, tidied, some windows cleaned
    Bathroom cleaned
    Cake made
    Meals planned
    Lounge tidied and cleaned
Had a surprise meet-up with my brother who was able to stop on his way to Stansted airport
    Went to Mr T
Went to BandQ to get new hose for wm
    Suitcases emptied and put away
Flowers picked to do an arrangement
    Mr N currently ironing
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Morning

    WM is on
    Bed remade
    Whole house hoovered
    Bin sort and cleaned

Deep freeze list checked and some meals planned, I have been running it down, as there was just so much in there, it is better now, easy to see what I have, rather than what ever defrosts will be made into a meal.

washing on line. Two loads were towels and cleaning cloths. And my beloved mf dusting mitt.

  • More time spent in the kitchen. It looks good.
WM twirling. One lodger out at the crack of o'sparrow fart with keys and rent left on the table. Just about to strip his bed.
Another bed changed, sitting room and dining room tidied.

I wanted to get the front door curtain up this weekend, so I got it down from the attic, found the curtain hooks with it (result!) and the tape measure to get it ready for hanging. Then I got the step ladder down and had a quick check that all I had to do was dust before I actually hung it. O.M.G. It's a spider wildlife park up there, in the furthest reaches of the house. Not happy.
    Better is good enough.
  • Decided to leave a Giant Racing Arachnid to enjoy the bath by himself this morning.

    As has Himself, apparently :rotfl:

  • Felines' Little Box of Evil sorted.

    Shower room floor scrubbed.

Himself has washed up and pretty much cleaned the countertops,

Vacuum cleaner has been brandished about for a few more seconds.

Dinner should be on the go in a minute.

Himself has moved the clean washing (so I won't be able to find anything in the morning, but hey, he did it) and I've chucked out a few more bits and pieces that don't fit/make me feel rubbish when I wear them.

And the Giant Racing Arachnid is still enjoying the bath.

We don't have a glass large enough and neither of us want to hurt him.

Eventually, one of the cats will deal with the situation instead.

    Evening folks x

Dancegran is home and isn’t coping too well. She rang me to say she was staying upstairs and she wanted dancepops to go up to her but couldn’t make him hear. So I had to do a visit in case he had collapsed.(he hadn’t). Flying done at their house. She refused to go to a care home for a few days so they could sort an increased care package so she was just shipped home in an ambulance. Dancepops isn’t well enough to look after her either.
It’s going to be a long year.

    DH has ironed
I pegged out the washing then it started to drizzle, so put it on airers.

DS2 has actually been given a maths homework book and he has completed 3 pages :) The level seems to be very basic but at least school set it and he did it.

I must check up on post grad uni boy tonight as I haven’t heard from him for a few days.

Just cooked & ate a Sunday roast so DH is being a star and clearing up whilst I wait for DS2 to get out the bath so I can cut his nails.

We managed an errand in the town, a cuppa and poke mom walk whilst there.

    Hugs F x

Damaged and lifting bathroom floor tile removed and replaced. It now shows up the rest of them in terms of whiteness.

Arachnid finally relocated in one piece. Using a jug and one of the bathroom floor tiles(!) to allow for the legs.

    BM on.

Dinner (This late?) about to be dished up. Hoping the burning sensation in my nose isn't because he's cremated it.

    Work in the morning.

ETA: Burned, dried out, over salted and bereft of vegetation. Still trying to get the taste out.
