I think you may struggle with this bit, as you just made up a load of abnormal rubbish. No mention of a park, then the rest is equally stupid.

Why should people have to put up with unwanted attention from uncontrolled dogs? I guess you are one of those idiot dog owners that would say "oh, it's just being friendly".

I Guess you are one of those idiot members of the public who believe all open space is for you and anything you deem not suitable to you is the priority.

i am one of those wonderful dog owners who has 3 of the loveliest dogs around who will walk ~(not run) up to everyone to say hello.

they dont jump, they dont bark, they dont bite yet occasionally some idiot will demand i keep my dogs on the lead at all times because they dont like dogs.

if you are somewhere where dogs are walked, then tough.. if you dont like my dogs fine, they will return to me when called, if you keep walking they will leave you alone.

when you come out of your padded safe space, the rest of the world doesn't have to do as you say. you can have that advice for free.

Would that be because the term" snapping at my heels"
Which I interpret as trying to bite you, should have just said " following me"?
Snapping at my heels means it was tugging at my trouser leg with it's teeth.

Oh. Well that's a bit different! Teeth on trousers probably means those trousers are ruined? I'd be asking the owner to pay up for them and thinking about giving the police a heads up - since said dog is clearly not under appropriate control.

It obviously was frightening for you , OP but odd That you didn't mention on your OP?
    what happened .

I'm certainly not excusing it but to some dogs this is play.
Ps my dog adores to jump on peoples laps also plays football very Skilfully, I only allow it after reading their body language.
My dog likes to tug on a blanket sometimes when he's feeling playful

Just my experience and looking at your previous posts.
I do know/ try to understand that there are some types of people who REALLY HATE dogs jumping up at them and I rationalise that they have some issues.

Was it a collie - they do tend to snap at heels, trying to round you up? best thing is to stand still and not get all flappy & make a noise. It's one of those things that they can do occasionally. All the advice about phoning the police is really not good as if that happens twice the dog can be destroyed. It's innate for sheep dogs to do this.

You sound a bit like the women who had five dogs ,yes five jump out of her car in the car park of the country park, two of which proceeded to run up to us in our car.

She took no notice and carried on walking just calling them and had to come and get them when they would not go to her.

And I say this as a dog lover who has had three dogs and now walks our son's dog.

Fortunately, most dog owners I come across do keep their dog on a lead and only let them off in big open spaces, which is what I do.

Yes, the best thing to do when a person over reacts its to find someone else to blame, invade their privacy and slander them all over social media.
you certainly wouldnt be taking photos of me if you over reacted to a none event..
Someone else to blame .. the only person to blame would be the dog owner - doh!

If the dog was snapping at my heels (tugging trouser leg) then yes, I would do exactly as I said I would. If it were a small dog then it wouldn't be pulling my clothes around for long.

Zero tolerance on foolish dog owners, gives everyone else a bad name.

You clearly have comprehension issues, amongst others. You made up a load of drivel and have now come out with some more. I quite like dogs, but often not their idiot owners, of which you a clearly one. As per post 12, a good hard kick - to either dog or owner - will usually suffice.

The OP referred to a dog snapping at their heels. You made up some rubbish to try to make out it was their fault and now you are doing the same to me.

Your free advice is not even worth that.
