Why and how are they different to people paying that for an Apple phone?
Why did you feel the need to only insult Apple phone users Fred?
Cheaper Android phones are available as are cheaper iPhones.0 -

Deleted_User in the sub £300 phone thread wrote Got a Moto e4 from Argos for 70 quid. It is superb for the money and I'm used to an iPhone 7.
Which iPhone do you recommend for £70?0 -
Not for £70 but for £240 you can have a brand new SE from JL.
The E4 is great for the money but I would not want it as my main driver.0 -

That's 3.5 times more expensive. Hardly comparable.0 -
Apple normally charge at least twice as much compared to the same hardware but with a different operating system. So if you are capable of using android you can save a lot of money. Good advice for a money saving site. Those incapable will just have to pay more and be poorer (but make me richer). Oh why do I bother?0

In the past, bar a couple of models, I've gone for the latest iPhone when Apple have announced one.
Recently I used Envirofone and purchased a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge-and for a phone that's a 'few' generations old and it does the job just fine.
Everyone's needs are different but I, for one, won't be in a rush to get the newest handset in the future! It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

All true, but I am just trying to figure out why Fred thought it was necessary to insult iPhone buyers and disrespect people with mental illness with his thoroughly nasty comments.
I had hoped he would be able to explain why he is so biased and rude.0 -

Probably so he can talk about how rich he is......(and yes, I have been known to show things from my perspective, I don’t feel the need to disclose how much I earn or where that comes from though)
I have a an Android phone but do use an iPad as a tablet, mainly as doing it through my network worked out cheaper over 3 years than buying a device and data separately. My phone is mine, on a SIM only contract, as that was most suitable at this time.
If Android worked out cheaper/better, I’d do that. I am a business user though, so weighing up cost and usability for my needs is more important than cost alone (and I felt that £18 extra over 3 years did that for the iPad).
I don’t see the point in being nasty, nor do I see the point in paying a fortune for a phone when there is an equivalent alternative for about half the money, if someone wants to do or can get a better deal that is right for them so that is their choice,💙💛 💔0 -
Iphone XR is the best in terms of price, look and features. What do you think guys?0

Could everyone please get buying the latest iPhones. You know you will look really cool and your mates will be impressed. The share price has dropped recently and sales are down so please give Apple a big boost.0
