I can definitely disapprove keeper liability.

    I can't wait until it's over.

    Thanks

I was querying why they opted for mediation as clearly they don't want to resolve matters. I presume it's a delaying tactic.

They do this because they know a mediator will be clueless about the parking scam thereby increasing their chances of a win
This gives an indication that they are unsure of their case

If they continue, no doubt they will send a rent a mouth legal who probably will not know much about it anyway

The courts already know that they are serial timewasters

As such I would recommend a counterclaim for harassment.

Do you not realise that a claim for harassment is difficult and something a county court judge would probably not entertain.
Costs and unreasonable action is the way to go.

Your suggestion should be ignored as those thinking about harassment should discuss with a good solicitor first
  • Hi everyone

I received a trial date for March. Today was the last day given to the parking firm to pay trial fee or claim would be struck out.

I sent them a letter earlier in the week threatening them if the trial takes place I will be claiming x costs against them.

Today I have received notice of discontinuance from them! They are closing their file!

    So glad it is over!
Thank you for all your help.

    That's good news for you.

From QDR I assume. They realised they would be in for a whooping in court.

For your safety, get this confirmed by the court
