If you're looking for a car Kaz and can wait, we got a cracking buy with our Volvo 3 years back, private sale and week before Xmas, his wife scowled at him when he almost refused my much lower than he was looking for offer, could tell she was dying to go Xmas shopping with it. It's worth more than what we paid for it still now :D not often that happens with a car.

Right well I've done nothing apart from bid on stuff on ebay, not won anything so far. Wind starting to rattle through the conservatroy (which is where this PC is) and starting to get cold in here so think I shall make a move and get something done so I can close the doors. Brrr!! Ah need to look for a recipe first so will do it after that.
One day I might be more organised...........

DD is fine today. She's spent the whole day on the sofa in her PJ's watching Thundercats DVDs :rotfl:

Me, I've spent most of the day either moving washing or on a website getting themes etc for my new-to-me phone...can anyone else say David Boreanaz :drool: :rotfl: I'm off to look at the hunk section now... didn't think it was a good idea while DD was up since alot of them are just in boxers :p

    Hiya
I'm another late one today. Been on a course today which was fab so i'm looking forward to the second day tomorrow. Came home to find DH had fixed the door frame, bought paint for the hall and living room, done homework with the children and fitted more floor...I never complain about him, honest!!!

Came in and vaccumed the hall, stairs and landing and then got a takeaway for tea as couldn't be bothered to cook.

    Catch up later xx

LJD1.. my hubby has spent all day feezing us all to death fitting 2 double glazed units in the front bay.. 6 down.. 2 to go!!!!!! He took the small pinks to dance class this morning too, becaus emy legs are really bad at the moment and it would have taken me an hour to walk them there! He is just tidying his mess. *yawn*

Next weekend it is Moomins birthday so it better be done and tidy by then.. I just hope I can actually walk this week so I can get it sorted.. the back room is a bear pit again! and I want to rehome the rocking chair so I can erect my big airer near the radiator.. and I need to empty the middle room which might entail stuffing boxes of toys in the shed until it is decorated!!

Best get the grubs off to bed.. :D

  • Just got Ds to bed. It's been a bit of a long and lonely day with just the two of us. There is now nothing on the telly, so i guess i will do some flying and see what i achieve. I think an early night may be the order of the day as there is no point sitting here by myself. Not even a cat to cuddle.

I suppose if i can get some of the stuff done then at least tomorrow may be a bit easier for me.

Right, just paid the credit card bill and moved charlie's birthday money to his savings account. Car insurance next i reckon.

Have a good one everyone, and if anyone is having a drink enjoy one for me. Even if i was allowed one i don't think i would as i feel sicky still. Don't think i will even have the stomach to eat the chocolate i bought myself.

    Evening everyone,

today has just drifted by, and apart from all the washing, I don't think I've managed to get anything much done. Oh, I did work out my Christmas budget, and then got depressed about where I was going to find the difference between what I need, and what I have!
After a while I realised that it just wasn't worth stressing over - I will have enough, just, if I have the usual amount of work for the next five weeks, and I am so inspired by sexymouse, that I am going to ring up the supply agencies early next week.
I have bought a couple of presents already, not much I know, but because of Mum, I just haven't been in the mood for Christmas at all.

Downtown this afternoon for a couple of hours with DS2 and DD. Spent an hour in the wool shop, and failed to find a pattern that I really wanted to make, which I wanted to start this evening. One of those trips when you cannot get anything on the list, and you wonder why you bothered!

Then the PC was messing around, and I had to keep rebooting so I could get online. By now the rest of the family are keeping well out of my way!

I have now found some free patterns online, although I still have no wool...I'll just have to do the washing up instead...

    Have a good Sunday!

    Hi everyone

Been a busy few days here with work, bonfire parties, A & W's usual social activities etc
Today we have finally started to lay the tiles on the kitchen floor :j Mum and Dad have been round to help. We couldn't start until this evening but what we have done looks good so far.

Remembrance service in the morning so will be out ringing the bells early in tomorrow. Love the sound of half muffled bells, sounds echoy. Then more tile laying in the afternoon.

Seems like you have all been busy bees, no flying done here for ages, and it looks even worse at the mo while we sort the kitchen floor.

Hugs to you all, will catch up properly in the next day or two ;)

Pigpen - i've decided the only way to make my DH do anything I want him to do is sow the seed then say nothing. Then, when he does it I praise him like he's a little kid (whilst sniggering to myself) and he moves straight on to the next thing. Think his ego is in need of massaging and if it means I get everything done then i'm happy to do it. Where is he now? Tidying the study!!!! I just happened to mention that now the rest of the house is looking so good it's great we've got his study as a general dumping ground. He didn't like that idea so he's up there as we speak - method in my madness!
