    I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bored!

My collegue left at 1.30 and I have not spoken to anyone (other than myself) since. Lost the will to meal plan - completely run out of ideas! List of other bits we need to buy done. Gonna go down to the basement to make another coffee as I am now falling asleep!

    45 mins to go. ARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!

Spoke to DH on the phone at lunchtime and DD2 had started playing him up (told him to dose her up on the calpol as her ears could be hurting and she was due her next dose of antibiotics) so scared to ring him again in case she is still playing up:rolleyes: .

Oh, I spoke to someone, they came in to buy a poppy:D .

Right coffee and may feed the office cat whilst I am down there.

Awww Niki, hope DD is feeling better, no doubt she will be knowing that kids like to make a big mess and then feel better instantly.

Shell, I used to hate working on my own. Not done it since I was 18 right enough, but had plenty of practice until then. Was sickening as you got so bored, you actually did some work! Let OH deal with DD on his own!

    I been good.

    Floors hoovered and moped.
    sofas cleaned
    Dishes piled up
    Glass doors cleaned and polished
    Febreeze sprayed round the LR
    Big telly cleaned (mammoth task)

:coffee: at last. 3 times I put the kettle on, only to go and do something else.

    After coffee...

    do dishes
    wipe counter tops in kitchen
Clean bathroom & mop floor & get rid of pee smell.
    put a washing on
tidy that corner in the kitchen
    tidy PC desk.

Hubby finishes early, so will be home for 5pm. Need to scrounge out a nice dinner then. Hoepfully all the flying will be done and I can relax after dinner and sweet talk hubby into doing the dinner dishes.

    so, :coffee: all round?
  • Hello

Late posting today, already done load washing and that is drying on the radiators. Took DS to football training this morning and he came back with a new kit - looks better than the old one.

I'm trying to do a meal plan for the week and then will order it online from Mr T's.

DS is now out with his dad, so I get some peace & quiet for abit.

Don't plan to do much else today, I'm extremley tired my cat decided he wanted to go out at 4am this morning and I just could not get back off to sleep again  .

    See you later

Afternoon all - I'm late too!

Three loads of washing done, it's been a really nice day and it's nearly all dry now. Just a few bits to get in soon. The rest has been folded and put away.

Both DDs have gone away on holiday today - to Cuba. I hate it when they go away.

But I stripped youngest DD's bed (she still lives here, the older one has left home) and that's all dry. Bed aired and remade.

DH and I wrapped Christmas presents this afternoon. We knew we wouldn't be interrupted as they have gone away. We don't have that many to wrap but it still seems to take forever and makes your back ache. Done now though. Still waiting for one parcel to come which was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, but that will be easy to wrap.

    I feel really tired now!

:grouphug:to those with poorly children and any of you who are poorly too.

I went out last night and I am going out again tonight so I have decided to rest today. I have DS2 home from uni, I think it is because he ran out of clean clothes! So I have told him to get on with his washing. I have had my hair washed and blow dried today as a special treat too.

I haven't tried to go out more than one night a month so this is a true test of my staying power. I think I might just go and have a lie down until it is time to get ready. Flyingwise, I have,
    s and s bathroom
    s and s kitchen
Tried to find furniture in living room, under clothes, coats, tins of paint etc.

Okay cup of tea then lie down

Another late arrival, been busy however. Been in to town and queued for an hour to get a parcel and a letter which haddn't had the postage paid, most annoying as it was a letter informing us we will get a letter soon from the council, what a waste of £1.24! Might have to complain on Monday about that.

Front hall now cleared by DP who also vacuumed it and the stairs (this is getting weirder as he usually doesn't touch housework) then built the new shoe cabinet which looks good actually, fits perfect (thankfully as we didn't measure it!!) found a small basket with a lid for gloves, hats etc which fits nicely on it to stop them being left lying around hopefully. Through downstairs vacuumed, hard floors mopped, sprayed the deflea stuff last night which fingers crossed has done the trick. Dogs seem to have stopped scratching but will still do upstairs carpets with the stuff on Monday when the boys are at school. Anyone looking for flea stuff try www.wormers.co.uk half the price of the vets and free delivery, cheaper than the other sites I tried and stuff arrived the next day.

Laundry mission today as DS2 wet the bed at about 4.30am hence I am yawning as he didn't go back to sleep. DP made his bed before he went to work for me, I hate making those high up beds! Another 3 loads of normal laundry and some curtains I found from the last house, I wondered where they were found in a bag of other stuff. Have unpacked 4 more boxes/bags of stuff, put my handbags inside a suitcase I unpacked and under the bed so DP can't moan and make me throw more out. I have kept 4 out of course :o I will hide them in the wardrobe.

Dining table also got built today, have been putting it off as we were storing things in there. Kitchen almost tidy, left a few things out as hoping to make some biscuits this evening. Need to clean sonic out first because he's stinky!

Kaz can you not get a second hand replacement engine for your car? I remember the breakers yard we used to get a gearbox for the Volvo had SAABs aswell, can I knickers remember the name of it but there is a lot of them listed online, loads of aents where you can submit requests for second hand parts and the breakers will ring if they have them (some with crazy prices but some very reasonable) they even delivered our gear box for us.
One day I might be more organised...........

I AM FREEZING!!! Hubby is STILL putting hte glass in the front bay and I am desperately trying to keep the kitchen and back room warm.. goodness knows why.. they have all gone upstairs in the cold leaving Tiddles and I in the warm!

Tiddles fell asleep on my lap in the front room with no glass in I had my coat on and she was wrapped up in her fluffy coat.. honestly we can sleep anywhere!! We were both laid there snoring while hubby hammered and banged and drilled and saw'd.. We are both somewhat more pleasant for it though!

I got excited then.. thought it was bed time and it is nly 5:40!! .. *sigh* that's not fair is it!

I have done a fair bit of washing today.. the heater has gone completely on the TD now so I have been unable to dry anything much.. and I have tonnes of washing.. I am seriously considering washing tonnes on Monday bundling it off to the laundrette (ie my mothers!) to be dried..

Hubby and I are off out again tonight as well.. and I'm getting up early kicking them all out to church and going back to bed.. hahaha!!

I've de-flea'd and flea shampoo'd DD3.. she was hopping.. the others weren't too bad but heck, hers was BAD!! I must have combed off a thousand eggs and about 25 huge lice!!.. not one small bug though which was odd!

I've done a HUGE pan of corned dog hash which should keep me fed all week.. I've got the pig out of the freezer for tomorrows dinner and updated all my christmas lists!

I'm going to the big tesco later to help my mother choose an MP3 player for my sis for her birthday on Thursday.

Next task.. reload TD and WM.. AGAIN!!.. oh.. and the DW.

    Evening all,

Well I've walked the dog with DD, Meal planned for next week, and done my first ever Tesco order online for delivery tomorrow!!

Lil_me Have thought about replacement engine etc but its probably as expensive as replacing the poor old thing. Garage said it would need new engine AND gearbox as that had developed a bad rattle as well. Trouble is OH cant make his mind up what to do.

Still waiting for money to come through from PPI repayment. Had letter last Saturday and not in bank yet so checking it daily. Was going to pay off loan and be a lot better of each month but even tho it only has til May to run it would actually cost me more to repay it early. bl00dy ridiculous if you ask me. SO that money can either pay for a half decent car (when I get it) or another older runaround plus something else, me smells a shopping spree :D .

Suppose I better go start some tea got hungry kids and a rumbly tummy myself. And gonna do some baking as well for the freezer.

Poor nicki you seem to be gettin it rough lately and shell I'm sure if you're bored you can make better use of the internet while you're at work. Are there some online courses you could do.

    Catch you all tomorrow

    Kaz

BOGGER forgot to take the HUGE chicken out of freezer for tomorrow ............
