Evening all.
Bella - I had a stalker here, very briefly, though not on the OS thread. Later on I had a bad experience on another thread (can't remember which) so that's why I mostly stay here. Folk here are lovely, I've met two in RL.
My day was so much better than last Monday or how I anticipated it. Morning teaching was really productive and the truculent teenagers got through without me ranting them. That's probably because they all had to hand in their mobiles and (in one centre) another member of staff sat in with them. Both strategies worked like a charm...
I've had a chicken thigh with coleslaw and chilli beets for my evening meal - I forgot about all three items so the venison casserole has been saved for another time. It's stalking season now so I'm expecting more supplies of venison sometime soon.
An elderly neighbour called in this afternoon so we sat and chatted happily for an hour before my afternoon class. I really enjoyed the chat. Funnily enough another neighbour phoned me earlier, enquiring if I was OK as he hadn't seen my car for ages. He'll bring his wife along for a visit soon.
Well, there's a yellow weather warning out for the wind overnight. I hope my Freesat dish stays up this time. :rotfl:0 -
Absolutely shattered this evening, a long day, but the journeys were straightforward and the infusion was OK, OH came in with me and quite enjoyed watching my BP and heart rate fluctuating on the monitor, at the beginning the machine wouldn't work and he did question if I was still living:eek: We did get tea and biscuits too:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. I read every day but I rarely post as I don't think you lot need me ranting about work and MS! Holly I send my love to you. I have no recollection of my cancer as I was 2, just a large scar. But if it helps 35 years later and I'm still here
As always sending love to TA. You are an amazing woman.
JackieO I'm off to your favourite place Friday for a long weekend. IOW has a special place in our hearts - when we realised that that's it - got the onenearly 10 years later and through a lot of stuff...
RR hope you've got your back checked out - been through so much with OH and his back I don't want anyone else to go through that.
Hugs to all xx0 -
Nanny, I’m not quite sure where you are but the M5 near me has been totally dreadful recently. It just seems to be getting worse on a weekly basis. Even more so since the schools have gone back!0
