LBC from Gladstone

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
It is a response to the template I sent after being advised to do so, following the LBC they sent. It doesn’t say letter of claim anywhere however it does have a Reply Form and a Finance Form, so assuming it is a letter of claim? The date given by which they want a reply is 30 days from the date of the letter.

have you sent an SAR to the DPO at the PPC yet ?
if not , get it emailed asap, to get all their data on you and your vehicle
then email a rebuttal to the latest LBC0 -
I haven’t sent an SAR, but will get one sent off ASAP. I take it rebuttal is going to be based on info sent back in SAR? What happens if SAR goes beyond the 30 days that I have been given in the letter?
Sorry if asking a silly question.0 -
do the SAR, then look at B W rebuttals that tell them to place it on hold due to the SAR
dont ask , READ ( and research) - its all in other threads if you look0 -
Amazing. Thanks, will get on that..0

lol , its also repetitive and tedious, because B W LEGAL have millions to get through and no doubt GLADRAGS have thousands of their own , hence why you should read the other recent threads about it0

Hi Guys. Unfortunately had some family issues that meant I could not focus on this ticket and got back to it this week to do the SAR and rebuttal but got a claim form in the post now. I take it the above are now pointless and I should start working on defence and I should do the AOS to buy time for the preparation of the defence?0

Send a Subject Access Request to the PPC. Never too late for that, and the information returned will still be useful.
What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?
Did it come from the County Court Business Centre in Northampton, or from somewhere else?0 -
Hi,
Ok I will still press on with SAR. Form has come from the business centre in Northampton with an issue date of 25th Feb.0 -
With a Claim Issue Date of 25th February, you have until Monday 18th March to do the Acknowledgement of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To do the AoS, follow the guidance offered in a Dropbox link from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread. About ten minutes work - no thinking required.Form has come from the business centre in Northampton with an issue date of 25th Feb.
Having done the AoS, you have until 4pm on Monday 1st April 2019 to file your Defence.
That's over a month away. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but don't leave it to the very last minute.
When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as suggested here:-
Print your Defence.
- Sign it and date it.
- Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
- Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
- Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
- Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defended". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
- Do not be surprised to receive a copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire, they are just trying to put you under pressure.
- Wait for your DQ from the CCBC, or download one from the internet, and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to find out exactly what to do with it.
0 - Sign it and date it.
