Hiya,
Thanks for your messages and Monz for your check in
I'm ok, work got busier and with Christmas lurking in the corner, I've not had much chance to get on here.
No surveys have been done either and looks like it will stay that way with the way things are at the moment.
I'm glad I saved as much as I could for Christmas, the kids presents and the family are done.
My chest freezer is back up and running now, first time since we moved lol so that is gradually being refilled again
After the washer breaking and having to be replaced the other month....the tumble drier that was left to us has broken, but thankfully fixable and will cost £80 to fix it.
Trips to the dentist done and DH has an expensive trip that will go on the CC....I will move money about after Christmas to cover it.
My mum is coming down to visit this weekend....I hope she doesn't bring a lot of Carp with her! She is however bringing us essential bits like washing powder etc.0 -
Glad everything's okay just busy
Hope you have a lovely weekend with your Mum

Afternoon,
How do you tell a parent that you don't like their BF and that you'd rather they didn't come down again with them? That's the background stuff that I have been trying to sort out for a year and this past weekend clarified things that I still don't like him! They've been together 7 years and I hate talking to him.
Moving on.............
Last week at work this week and the kids broke up at lunchtime today too.
I have one more thing for DS to get, he wants a voucher for JD Sports so that is sorted.
DH and I don't do presents each but the kids buy for us, which is rather nice.
I mainly just have food/drink to sort out, but I'm not planning on spending a lot on that and we have vouchers and points to cover it too.
Things I have got in place for next year:
Sealed pot challenge
20p Savers club
£2 Savers club
Xmas Savers - Target £500
Pay off as much as you can 2019 - Target £4000
Lunches to Work
Pots
Pots wise, they're building up quite nicely, although the Christmas pot is now down to 14p. DD's travel will be sorted well before it is needed, so that is one less thing to worry about.
Things I have to do next year
DH's 50th birthday end of January
My Trek for MIND 9th June
MiL's 90th Birthday in November
Lose some weight0 -

Lists look good. Good luck with the targets.
It's always difficult when you don't get on with someone. Hope you managed to sort it.
