I hadn't thought about that, I have an FB page set up for it, could add my link to my Bio or whatever the kids call it (see I know all the technical stuff! :rotfl: )

I love my plans even if they don't always come through lol

I think DD is being bullied she said that everyone in her year hate her and a lot of them laugh at whatever she does.

I told her that I would talk to her tonight about it :mad: she's a sensitive soul and shouldn't have this.

That's not good about DD being bullied . You should definitely talk to her. What year is she in? The school sometimes tries to help, but so much of it is done when the teachers aren't around and then it turns into he said and she said . I hope you can find out what's going on anyway.

She's in Year 8, I think it's because she's a bit of a swot and generally gets on with things. DS said that there are a lot of clique girls in that school and if you don't fit in, they take the P out of you. I don't want to make things worse for her being there but I don't want her being unhappy

It's tricky to know the best thing to do. Sometimes they're in a class with lots of bullies iyswim. If that was the case maybe she could move classes. It depends if she is already streamed for subjects. I did all my subjects with my tutor group for the first three years and they were AWFUL. When I was streamed I was with nicer girls.

You need to talk to her first and find out what's going on. And ask whether is she getting bullied on social media too. Good luck.

Poor DD. Bullying is just awful. She's in the same year as my DD and it's such a worry isn't it. I hope you manage to have a good chat and get to the bottom of what's happening.

Morning,

Free brekkie today courtesy of the Contracts Manager

Spoke to DD last night and had a real good chat about things. It seems that there are three girls, two of which were originally her 'friend'. They imitate what she does and generally act like 6 year olds, when she is about. One girl in particular, she sits next to in Art class and this girl often says to DD 'my work's better than yours'.

I have told DD that they are just acting like they're 6 and they should grow up a bit. I told that she needs to ignore them and they will move on and annoy someone else.

She has two other friends that don't conform to the rest and she gets on with them, I told her to stick with them and not follow the sheep.

I will keep an eye on it and if needs be, I will speak to her year head and see what can be done.
