  • Thanks everyone, I'm sure he'll be fine :) he had a phone call from the divisional director at the new place yesterday to say that they're looking forward to him joining on Monday and that all his IT stuff was set up ready along with his mobile.

He's off out tonight for leaving drinks/team event and I will collect him from the station later tonight.

No word from OO, so if they choose not to reply, so be it, no great loss and I'll stick with the ones I currently use.

Hoping for some surveys with OP today, I'm £2.50 off pay out and I want to cash out before the end of the month, it should be doable but we'll see.....

Bank account checked and necessary money moved about.
  • I hope DH enjoys his new job. It's good to see the totals coming down a bit :).

  • Morning,

Well end of an era for DH today, leaving drinks last night which he enjoyed. IT equipment meeting this morning and breakfast with anyone who wants to join in and then that's it...all done with.

He has left on good terms though and they've said that if he's not happy where he's going that he is always welcome back.

Busy day tomorrow, DD has got poppy appeal with the Guides first thing and then swimming.

Bank account checked and money moved accordingly.

I'm off for three days this month, with things Christmassy planned.

I'm quite looking forward to getting properly started this month after October's disaster.

That's good that he's on good terms, it's always nice to have a safety net!

  • I guess that brings me to my November goals:

    Cut down on sugar
    Cut down on alcohol
    Go to the gym/exercise more
Take lunches to work - 17 days to do
    Get organised for Christmas
Do my tapestry - I've been neglecting this badly
    Do surveys
    Meal plan
Read my book - Not been doing this properly
    Get decent sleep

Just popping these here so that I can do them and it saves me the hassle of trawling through my diary to find it.
  • As the Barclaycard was annoying me because it had such a small amount on it, I have moved money about and transferred it over from my Pots account and have cleared it.

Feels good though, 2 gone and 2 remaining :)

The Pots account looks a bit sad and sorry for itself but it'll be worth it in the end and I can build it back up again.

Now the proper target of the MBNA can begin. I want that at least halved by next year.

It's great to have two gone, very motivating :T.

  • Thanks Hairy :)

So I sent my CV off on Wednesday to a company that was advertising for a permanent position, the advert said that if I had not heard anything within a 2 weeks then assume that I haven't been successful.

They've come back today and asked me about my current salary etc...so that could be interesting and it's the same distance as Swindon from home, just the opposite direction.
  • Ooh good luck, hopefully you'll get an interview.
