Hi, i've searched but cannot find any recent threads detailing this. i'm interested in what people actual use. It would be detailed in your last 'annual usage / renewal' letter.
My last 12 months usage was:-
Electricity: 3000kwh
Gas : 25000kwh
For: 3 bed semi, solid walls and a combi boiler.
Any replies appreciated.

Mine is an unusual setup, so not likely to get much in the way of direct comparisons.
Electricity: ~10,000 kWh on Economy 7 with 70% night use.
Gas: 1 * 19Kg bottle (£22) for cooker only.
2 bed detached bungalow. 2 Adults. Generally occupied 24/7 (because that matters).
4kW Solar PV with Hot Water diverter.
Air-Water heat pump heating.
Air-Air A/C throughout.
Nissan Leaf Electric Car travelling approx 7,000 miles a year.0 -
One bed flat with E7 - annual usage of 4938 kWh0

2 bed, 1 bath, 2 reception Victorian mid terrace, gas central heating, combi boiler:
12 months to 01/08/2018
electric = 1956kwh
gas = 11942kwH0 -
4 bed modern detached (built 15 years ago) with conventional boiler system
Electricity = 3,000 KWh
Gas = 12,000 KWhI have a tendency to mute most posts so if your expecting me to respond you might be waiting along time!0 -
3 bed small modern? terrace. Occupied 24 hrs/day. You do not want my electricity bill mostly caused by 4 computers on 24/7 & I do not like the cold so last winter did my gas consumption no favours. So ... 16000kwh gas and a massive 8000kwh electricity. The new fridge & freezer I plan on getting soon (procrastination permitting) should save me 75% on their usage & will make next to no impact on my annual bill. Welcome to my world.0

Crikey, that must be £1000 just in electric!0

4/5 bed 100 year old granite house. 4kw PV and I still pay for 6000kw of electricity. The solar saves me 2kw as we were 8kw a year people.
1500 ltrs of oil and plenty of free wood in the log burner
But there are 5 people living here and I bet the 10 kw shower x 5 is the most costly, but I can't get them to shower once a week or in cold water yetNO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -
3 bed detached bungalow with larger than average rooms.Now on my own .Latest yearly usage figures
Gas 10,000 kwh s ,electric was 2200 kwhs .
Supplier rightfully upped my direct debit £20 a month due to using more than the winter before when gas usage was around 8000 kwhs.. That was the result of " the beast from the east " I presume.
Trying to hang on till October before the central heating is switched on but I don t think I will make it.
I trying to get a 1 years fix in at low prices before the big rush to raise prices as usual before the winter.Currently with Eon on a switch to Bulb where I will quickly depart asap
I m very tempted to rip out the unused gas fire in the fireplace and install an open fire
.I have a rear gate which opens directly into a wood where trees are constantly falling down.
Ready supply of free wood , some of which the council have cut up into slices of tree which have laid there for 2 years but not sure how the neighbours would react to woodsmoke pouring out of the chimney, or the rules and regs of burning wood.. Tempting to get some free heat from a nice log fire some nights. I was brought up in a mining town and miss the open coal fire0 -
3 Bed 1950's repaired 'Cornish unit' style home. 2 Adults, one small child, and a new baby earlier in the year.
'16/'17 was about 2mWh of electricity and 11mWh of gas.
The 'beast from the east' knackered the gas usage this year pushing it up to a projected 15mWh. (Also, I finally figured out the optimal settings for the weather compensation on the heating so it was always comfortable, rather than on the chilly side as it had been before).
Electric looks like it will be a bit higher at 2.2mWh but a fair chunk of that rise is probably down to the microwave steriliser for the baby.
Still a lot lower than the 3.5 and 17mWh we were using when we moved in five years ago.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). Octopus Flux0 -
Interesting notation Raxiel0
