No lie in for me today! Had to get up early as had our builder coming round at 8 o'clock to fit the end panel to our shower and to duscuss having our kitchen redesigned plus some additional work. He didn't leave until gone 11.30 so nothing other than washing done this morning. We then went to look at floor tiles and worktops as I wanted to see them in tbe flesh, so to speak.

Just had lunch and just looked on here.

    Today's plan:

    B - beans on toast
L - gammon, mushroom, tomato & pepper omelette
D - LO gammon, chips, and pickles. Probably have a bit of salad as well.

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but may have some strawberries and quark after dinner

Must check my melon to see if it's ripe yet. If it is I'll chop that up and put in a box in
    the fridge to pick at.

  • Sunshinemummy - what sort of skinny syrup are you after? as well as the choc ones the choc shot people do a fruit syrup which is a good substitute for golden syrup or maple syrup! My sister also has a muscle foods maple syrup but that is REALLY runny :/ I prefer the choc shot fruit syrup but she prefers the muscle food :/

My Saturday wasn't the best, we were at an "end of season bbq", which wasn't a bbq in the end so was actually better than it could have been! lol.
And Sunday much better than expected, so I guess really I should count it as a good weekend ;) My boyfriends mums away so he was cooking, it was white bread for lunch, but he made a really yummy chilli in the evening completely syn free!

I woke late this morning, well no I woke normal time but then it was so cold I couldn't get myself to get out of bed, so was a quick rushed yogurt for breakfast (1/2 syn), and a hifi bar. Lunch is some salt and vinegar cracker things (6 syns) and a tin of stagg low fat veg chilli (syn free) - not bad for a chilli from a tin either!

I managed to get some skinny dogs from m&s yesterday so I'm thinking those for dinner :D I love them but they are always sold out!
anything's possible if you've got enough nerve

Ooh thank you, that is lovely news.

I am off to theatre Thursday evening for National Theatre Live screening of King Lear, nearly four hours long! Hope it is good, any suggestions of SW friendly snacks to keep me going? Am thinking frozen grapes, although they won;t be frozen by the end :-)

That pork roast looked fab. You all have such good ideas for meals, I need to try to vary it a bit more.

    Have a good week all,

I was thinking that too. It's so kind of you to do the chart chris but how are you keeping?:A

Complete change of plan for dinner. DH announced he had to go out early so had to make something PDQ from the freezer. We had sweet potato jackets with veggie chilli with cottage cheese on the side and MORE beetroot!:D

    Thank you for asking :)

On the bright side I lost 1lb last week... but I think that's mainly due to a Crohn's flare up :( but, not complaining, people have to cope with a lot worse :)

Hope you get some answers about your leg sooner rather than later bubbs - I normally have an arthritis flare after the crohn's and I know how debilitating the pain can feel.

You'll not ask again :rotfl: I think I need put down sometimes lol xx

Sorry to hear that Chris :(
If it is any consolation I sometimes feel the same.
