Thanks

Just had 2 chicken drumsticks, 2 satsuma and a banana:rotfl::rotfl: im hungry today
I looked at them but think they are expensive, i use choc shot unless its different flavours you are looking for?My Aldi had the Sweet Freedom choc shot (and another flavour - spiced orange??) yesterday.
Thanks for the link to the braised cabbage recipe Maman - I love it and we always have it with Xmas dinner but I'd like it more often.
Well we had an (almost) syn free feast yesterday - Pinch of Noms syn free onion bhajis with mint yogurt and salad, then cauli potato and spinach curry with rice, fresh baked figs with more yogurt for dessert, and I went and ruined it by having half a naan! I can't believe the syns in them. I'll make my own flatbreads in future which are considerably lower, not the same but a passable alternative.
Have a good day, all.haras_nosirrah wrote: »I got some skinny syrups from tx max and am now a convert. They last ages and as flavoured yog is now sunned can now mix natural yog or quark with skinny syrup

Today I have had:
All bran, quark and fruit.
Sunday dinner for later.
Yesterday I ate all day but mainly speed and free - kept syns to 10100 -
Thanks for the links Maman.
Have managed to save the lot I did yesterday. I cooked on High for about 3 hours after adding some more sweetener and vinigar plus more S&P. I've got 2 portions in the fridge for tonight and 6 x 2 portions to go in the freezer.
Made far more carrot & lentil soup than needed so 2 portions in the fridge for a couple of days time and another 2 portions in the freezer.

Belated reporting a 1lb gain this week.
Still adjusting to schools new schedules, kids new social calendars, mum's needs - and some viral thing that's sapped my drive and upped my desire to eat all the sugar.
Much thought on this, especially after seeing that huffpost article on obesity which resonated with me. So, with the cold weather sneaking in through the back door I need to keep the metabolism burning, but not by eating all the empty calories. Only 6 months or so before it brightens up again.

Sounds like a delicious menu esmy. I love the sound of the baked figs.
The recipe was from here - the roast fig one - far less honey used (just the slightest drizzle on the halved figs) so 1 syn at most.

I like the look of some of the savoury recipes on there too but they seem more synful.0 -

Thanks for your red cabbage recipe info, Denise and maman. Thanks for finding the SC option too. Mine had apple and onion in it too; don’t know what went wrong. I hope yours turned out ok, Denise.
Oh, bubbs, I love basil! Oh no, that’s baby spinach (which I don’t love so much but will eat)!
I had baked sweet potato with tuna & onion mayo and salad today, maman.
It’s been a fairly good day SW wise for me – although there is plenty of time yet to blow it! I will try to remember to WI tomorrow morning.

Is everyone having a lie in this morning?:rotfl:
Thanks for the heads up on the pork in Tesco bubbs. That is a bargain. I'll have to check whether I can squeeze anything more into my freezers!
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, baked beans
L: LO cold pork with fried veg and beetroot
HM pork burgers, SW chips, fried onions, green stuff (broccoli, asparagus, runner beans), tomatoes, mushrooms
Syns: 1? for burger (not 5% pork )0 -
Good luck everyone this week. Not long till Xmas.
I didn't have a great weekend food wise, so I'm expecting a maintain if I'm completely honest, but there we go.0
