    Morning all,

Up and at it now that I have evicted DH and DD from the house. I have pegged the first load of washing outside in the hope that the wind will dry it before the threatening rain comes along.

I need to tackle the downstairs now. I have spent the last 1/2 hour wiping sticky surfaces and rehousing gibble. So the vacuum cleaner it now has to be.

Catch you later. Have a good day all.

Damp here this morning. Working later at the paid stuff. Need to go into town to source resources. Travel brochures. Coffee had, shower to be had then I'm out.

    Morning ladies x

Catching up on all the news. Pigpen, words fail me also. What planet does your ex come from???

In the middle of a mediation session I was sat looking at him like he was insane and asked him if he was from a parallel universe because his version of events was a completely different version from what I, and the children experienced!!

Pigpen.....nope, sorry, for once, words fail me....

Narc0 - ((hugs)), that 10 months have flown by. I hope the evening was a lovely, if sometimes bittersweet occasion.

Thanks. The bride looked beautiful in the dress and veil which her mum had chosen with her, one of the last things they did before her illness. For the last dance, the couple had picked their mum's favourite song - which the bide danced with her dad. Golly need a tissue now.

Zumba next, lunch with a friend, clear post-party mess in bedroom, make sure everything is ready for tomorrow's presentation then Bible class. That should see me till pretty late tonight.

    Morning all. Hugs where needed.
Am I the only one who's noticed we've got LR, HSL two days in a row? NOt that I'm complaining as I'm playing catch up. Cushions are in the machine.

That's it so far today as I went back to bed and Littleydog didn't then want to get up from her cuddle with me. That's my excuse anyway.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • I think it's an oversight, Jazee.

Pigpen, I hope the situation is resolved as quickly as possible with as little further damage to everyone involved

J is due here at 11.00 am for a couple of hours and I had, for some unfathomable reason, totally under-estimated the mayhem this boiler replacement would cause. Three large cheerful plumbers have taken over the kitchen and dining room and every radiator has to be accessed again to drain the system. I think she's going to be dusting bookcases. They need doing. (ETA Apparently she'd already figured that out herself. Excellent woman, full of commonsense.)

My listy, as the shower room and bathroom are fine and kitchen is out of bounds:
    - Bravec*o kittens
    - trim kittens claws *ouch*
    - get more front door keys cut
    - craft fair items photographed
    - photograph necklace and bracelets
    - write to A's
    - get photos printed
    - index up to date spiral books and extra pages
    - write to new N
    - finish sorting scrappy notes
    - summit notes
    - tax return (ho ho ho)

I will get to grips with all of this chaos.
    Better is good enough.

I will be so impressed at your willpower :p

I swept and mopped downstairs before going to the allotment. While I was there it was windy and trying hard to rain. Now I am back, the sun is trying to get through. Grrrr. Still I picked an abundance of produce, which will be put into some sort of meal plan, maybe later.

I gave the ensuite a quick clean before lunch, as that had been the sacrifical lamb last week when time ran out. Quick lunch of fridge dregs, and now I can think of no other excuse to stop me tackling the paperwork pile. The tax return may be one step too far....

Sigh, bigger sigh, plans of cleaning oven went out the window as the dog decided to roll in cat muck. :(:cry:He got the full fifteen foot of lead on the way home so he was as far away as possible with the smell. Cue swapping oven cleaning for scrubbing of dog in shower, then scrubbing of shower and myself and a bit more bleach for good measure. Line currently has dog towel on the line hair hopefully blowing off it. Dirty get. spin tonight so WM going on as soon as I get in, dog walk without cat poop please then spin – still cant believe he did that again. Best dog in the world till he does that!
