Parking eye parking charge while I wasn't in the car park

This is where I get confused. The issue about leaving and re-entering the car park aside, are you sure the OP doesn't need to pay (assuming they didn't get it cancelled)?
My understanding is that the issue ultimately gets passed to a debt collection agency and then you get bailiffs knocking on the door.
Nope. Legally it has the same weight as me saying you owe me £100 for reading this post.
Sure, staying in the car park too long may be "bad", but why should that mean you give money to a 3rd party who's only income comes from issuing invoices.
That they only get money from invoices is why they are so sloppy about things like double dipping and minor overstays. Doing their job properly means no invoices and no money.0 -
Your understanding is wrong, debt collectors have no power whatsoever and can be ignored, bailiffs are appointed by a court which means you have lost a court case and then not paid any fine a court has imposed, not some invoice that anyone can make up.My understanding is that the issue ultimately gets passed to a debt collection agency and then you get bailiffs knocking on the door.0 -

If you used Me, Myself and I then you may have shot yourself in the foot.
You said you read the NEWBIES thread - did you follow the instructions in respect of your appeal?0 -
Slight exaggeration perhaps. If you think this is an outrage, how would you describe 9/11?Oh I'm persuing Asda, ringing the store manager tomorrow ( when he is in.... Of course) and I've contacted their head office saying I want cctv footage I'm not paying for something that I didn't cause. I read about the double dip thing and it's ridiculous that it happens, it just seems to strange it caught me going in the first time, missed my car TWICE then got me going out again it's an outrage0 -
I've moved this thread over to the Parking tickets sub-board

Your understanding is mistaken. Or are you scaremongering. We recall your previous posts here where concern was raised over your motives in coming here!

The debt collectors stage is covered by the newbies FAQ thread. See #4.
There is no possibility of any debt collectors sending bailiffs. The standard advice here is ignore debt collectors completely.
Bailiffs for non payment of PPC invoices only come into the picture after a court claim. Way down the line.
If you ignore a CCJ against you then the claimant can get sn enforcement order to get paid using bailiffs0 -
The actual appeal was worded very differenty and I used the newbie post as an example, what I wrote in here was just the storyIf you used Me, Myself and I then you may have shot yourself in the foot.
