    Ignore my advice, why?

OP do not ignore my advice.  OP and Nos, read the sequence again, I was advising OP to contact his landlord and MP without delay.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I've now received my trial date for this matter and have a question for whoever may be able to advise.
The PCN was a notice to keeper.  The driver of the vehicle has never been established and I believe I do not have to divulge that information anyway.
What I'd like to know is the appropriate legal term/phrase to explain that.

    Thanks in advance.

I doubt that there is one, plain language seems appropriate.

  • I was hoping for some legal document, act or whatever I could refer to and quote perhaps.

The PoFA 2012 plus Henry Greenslade's report from a couple years ago both can be obtained by asking Auntie Google.
  • I am assuming that they have added on £60.00 charge for debt collection. DRP and Zenith are the same company. I don't quite know why they switch from one collection agent to another unless it is to intimidate.

DRP and Zenith operate on a no collection, no fee basis so there should be no add on charge of £60.00 because it has cost VCS nothing. It's abuse of process.

I have a copy of the web page (now taken down) which states that they work on a no collection no fee basis if you would like a copy. It will be useful for your WS to include this with the letters.

Just as a matter of interest did the letters from Zenith used the word "assigned"?

Pofa 2012 is the route I intend to go down. They haven't complied so surely there is not charge liable?
The county court claim is for me as keeper and or driver, yet not established like I say.
My thought is if I'm asked by the judge who was driving then what do I say.
I'll look into Henry's report, I love auntie Google, she's my favourite.

I'll have to look at the paperwork after work to confirm,  but yes, there is a £60 fee added, scoundrels.

Keep those letters and include them with your WS. I will PM the copy of DRP's web page which states categorically the work on a no collection no fee basis.
