We have had a case where it was not requested.
I can not work out if it underwriter dependent or case specific. We will just stick with uploading it as standard until told otherwise I think.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thought I'd give you guys a quick update on where I am and I do have a question.
I'm still chasing a completion date. Its been delayed because something which cropped up in the searches. We live in a pretty rural Lincolnshire Town and a few miles away is a scenic steam railway. Recently they have have put in planning permission to extend the line into town. Now the line is supposedly going to be around 200m from the house.
Now I don't expect this to be much of a problem and I actually believe its quite a nice thing to have nearby so all good.
This weekend I received another mortgage offer from Pepper which as far as I can see is exactly the same as the previous one.
Anyone know why they would send another out?0 -
Hi thought I would jump on this thread hope non of you mind. Over the past week iv read lots of forums back to front driving me mad. We submitted full app with Pepper and today we got approved pending valuation which they hope will be this week, I dont hold my breath. I am worried sick something will show on the valuation or we will go to exchange pay the deposit and pepper pull out and I loose alot of money, soooo stressful.0

Jason we've had 3 different offers from them but the only difference was the fee amounts as they made a couple of mistakes
But expecting the final correct offer by the end of the week
As for completion, due to a legal issue we are unable to exchange or complete until the 20th of Dec so we are going for simultaneous exchange and completion on the 20th of Dec0 -

Can I ask what interest rate you all got from pepper ?
I was offered 4.58 so turned them down as the monthly payments were too high but I do have 2 defaults one of which drops off in Feb and the other I'm going to pay off so might get better rate ?
Thanks0 -

I think you've done the hard bit now. Think its just a matter of crossing your fingers when it comes to the valuation.

Apparently they'd made a mistake in regards to the deposit so no big deal. The latest offer certainly is showing all of those details correctly.
We've still not got a completion date but I've begged the question to my solicitor on exchanging and completing the same day. I see someone thinks thats brave but I'm not sure why.
When I sold my house a couple of years ago we exchanged and completed the same day. Funnily enough it was just before Christmas. Hopefully thats a sign0 -

Hi Marra, my initial rate is 3.93% which was a little lower than I was originally expecting. It will go up in 2 years time but clearly my plan then will be to hopefully move to a main street lender.0
