Paypal basically draw cash from your credit card, so as far as the credit card company is concerned they have no goods to cover, they have simply loaned you cash - if you lose it via a con, it's your fault. The only comeback you have is with paypal, for which I wish you good luck!

No they don't, they pay the seller directly from your card, they act like a merchant would. There are many many people who have done successfull chargebacks through their card companies for paypal transactions.
Are you thinking of nochex maybe?

"....and for that reason; I'm out."
  • I second that. Desptite evidence to the contrary Paypal deducted a payment from my account.

All the user has to do is claim that his account has been accessed by someone else. In my scenario this just did not add up.

Legalised theft is paypal and always a lottery.

Any clue as to where these outlets can be found? :)

Sharp's UK business is based in Manchester, so that is presumably where the outlet is.

BTW came across some guys yesterday selling (and displaying working) 32" Hanspree HD tvs for £220, from a market stall, again customer returns.

Have anyone tried to contact this company today. My Brothers been trying all day, as he was looking at purchasing a laptop from them. All he gets is the office is closed
  • I assume you mean the possibly pie in the sky £100 TV company.
It would be a 1 man band though so possibly just taking a day off.

    Or 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one would assume that there is a lead time in order to run off with your money easier.

    Best try to cancel.
If it is not a scam it prob means that they had one item with it defaulting to 4 weeks when out of stock.
They could sell a million at that price.

wow I bet you feel stupid now
